i always have a regular monthly cycle of 28 days, but last month it delayed till the 33rd day and I thought I was pregnant. (my husband and me we are on the trying to conceive stage ) and this month too my periods didnt come on the 28th day and today is the 31st day. I have done the pregnancy test and the result says negative. Could you please suggest what I should do? should i wait for another 2 days to test again. Is there a chance for me to be pregnant?

Isn't trying to conceive a rollercoaster? I totally know, I have been TTC for a year and a half. Honestly a woman's cycle is sooo hard to predict and often when we are trying to conceive there is a lot of stress involved. Stess and other things can delay ovulation which makes your period later. I would staerkeeping track of your cycles and read up on detecting ovulation. Once you know when you have ovulated you can tell a lot more. There still is a chance you are pregnant, so keep that hope!!! Wait 2 more days and re-test(I know that is hard). I wish you the best of luck!!! I hope you are blessed with a little one this month!!!

Personally I would wait and take another test in a couple of days. It is normal for periods to get delayed (stress, change in diet, too much exercise, etc). My cycles are 28 days to the "T" and today is day 29 with nothing yet. My hubby and I have been TTC for 3 years with no luck. It is totally normal.

You could be pregnant, but you could also be causing your periods to be late by worrying over weather you are pregnant or not...I did it ALOT when my husband and I were trying to concieve...try to relax, do something to get your mind off of things (its easier said than done, I know)...wait a couple more days or maybe a week then test again...if it is still negative, you might call your dr for a blood test to be sure, and then explain the change to your dr...I am willing to bet that if you are not pregnant it is stress causing the late period! I hope your dreams come true soon!!! Happy trying!!!

Were you on birth control and went off to conceive? Going off birth control can alter your cycle, that could be why you are "late". I would wait a few more days to see if you get it again. The stress of trying to conceive could possibly have a hand in your cycle change. Good luck to you!!!

stress can affect your cycle. you might be trying too hard. relax and enjoy yourself. your body will respond. i have known people who tried for a long time and finally conceived after they had given up and started looking into adoption. just take care of yourself and relax. if you are still concerned -- seek medical help. there are tests to determine if there is a physical problem or not. many things can be treated talk to your doctor..

The best and quickest way to really know if you are pregnant or not is a blood draw at the doctors office. Other than that it is wait and wait till you know for sure.
