How big was your baby when you went past your due date???

Question

I am 4 days past my due date- I feel like he is huge (much bigger than my first pregnancy) Just wondering if everyone who went past their due dates had bigger babies??

BOTH of my children were INDUCED (over 2 weeks late -- so it was scheduled), and the boy was 21.5 in/7lb 7 oz, and the girl was 21 in/5 lb 15 oz -- but I am taller than average, and also have a small frame -- so that means that both came out looking like little people (and NEITHER child had hair!)

with my first, i was 4 days late- 9 lbs 21 inches
with my second, i was 21 days late- 10 lbs 2 oz 21 1/2 inches
with my third, i was 2 days late- 8 lbs 1 oz 23 inches

So the moral of my story, is yes. But not always the case i am sure, But usually your baby gains more weight the longer its in you. So I feel you, and god bless your soul, i sure hope you dont go over 21 days. Congrats and you are almost done.!!

my two children born on time (or right before) were 7 lbs 2 oz and 7 lbs 3 oz. My son that was born 2 days after my due date was 8 lbs 1 oz. BUT his father was a big guy... 6 foot 2 and 200 lbs (at least), so that might have been why. Good luck.

I was a week past my due date and my daughter was 9 lbs 8 oz and 23 in long. She looked like a 3 month old being cooked for so long. She also had a TON of hair.

6 days late (more like 10 if you believe the scan, which I didn't) and she was 8 pounds 10 oz. But then I've heard of later babies that were smaller so try not to worry about it. Best wishes.

All 3 of my kids were about 2 weeks late. My first was 7lbs 9oz, my second was 9lbs, and my 3rd was 8lbs 7oz. With the last one, I had gestational diabetes, and they think I developed it late in the pregnancy.

On another note, my best friend went 2 weeks over with her first, and she was 10lbs 2oz. Her husband was a big guy, though. I wouldn't be too worried. A lot depends on genetics, not necessarily timing.

My daughter was three days late and was 7 lbs 3 oz. My son was four days late and was 7 lbs 15 oz.

Just hang in there. I know it's rough to be late, but eventually your little one will show up. He can't stay in there forever. :)

My first weighed in at, 7 pounds even at 40 wks.
My third weighed in at 8 pounds 6.5 ounces at 41.5 wks.
Not to leave my second one out but he was delivered by C section and weighed in at 6 pounds 5 ounces at 37 wks.

I was exactly 2 weeks late and my daughter was only 6 pounds and 9 ozs.

Edited to add- You can have big babies if you have Gesteional (bad spelling) Diabetes. It can cause your baby to be big.

My daughter was 4 days late... she was only 7pounds 9 oz and 18.5 inches long


Now I am bigger than I was with her and still have 6 more weeks...AHHHH lol
