Well I am in labor, the early stages, how can I speed things up and get my water to break? Does walking really help? What else can I try?

Oh and just a helpful hint for all those that want those who want to say have sex.... recommend it if you know it only works if you are solo.

Hi. I wanna ask all of you first before i go to the doc. i was planning to go on pills. is there any side affects of it? will i get my period regularly as usual? coz i heard if you go on pills you only get period 3 times a year? one more, i still dont understand about patch method. you just stick the patch to your body and thats it? which one is better? thanks for the info.

Ok. Well I have always been irregular. I started on depo and took 2-3 shots (cant remember how many) and I took my last shot on July in 2003 and was due for another one around October but due to some problems (3 months of bleeding) I stopped and didnt go in for that shot. Ever since my husband and I have been only using condoms, Trojans. Anyways , I have not had a period since aorund October 12th or somewhere aorund in there. I did have some light spotting for 2 weeks at the beginning of Nov. It was discharge with blood in it, only had it like 3 times a day, not even enough for a panty liner!!! I have been feeling tired, having bad headaches on the left side of my head , I get nausea easily, my boobs are tingly feeling which is very weird for me because i've NEVER experienced anything like this before. I also have nnoticed my hair is softer and shinier and my face doesnt break out as bad. I had this with my son but no othe rsymptomes with him. Could I be pregnant or is it hormones?

Urine & blood test both came back negative. However, breasts & stomach are increasing in size. I'm now experiencing movement in my lower abdomen. On the pill never miss, don't wish to be pregnant. Is there a chance that the Dr.'s are wrong? If not pregnancy what could it be? I often too, have sharp pains in my stomach. I have not missed a period, however, they are much lighter and shorter then normal. This has been going on for 3+ months.
I'm not looking for anyone to tell me if I'm pregnant or not. More just curious if anyone has been in my shoes and what the outcome was.

I found out that I was pregnant last week. I have already been to the docotor and started my prenantal care. This is my first child so I aplogize in advance if I ask way to many questions on here. I am about 4-5 weeks. The docs aren't sure, they will know when they can measure the babys size in 4 weeks at my check up. Everything seems to be normal so far. All we could see on my ultrasound was a little sac.. The doc said they would see more in 4 weeks. Anyways now that I have explained my situation let me ask you ladies a quesiton. Did you have any syptoms this early? I mean the only thing is, well my breast were hurting really bad, they are still sore, but not to bad today. I have a head cold. I woke up in the middle of the night with an sore throat. Is it normal to not have all the symptoms? Is there any one else thats about 4-5?

Im 16 weeks pregnant and absolutely exaushted! I thought the tiredness would wear off once past the first trimester, but i feel so tired and breathless all the time. I am also suffering from lower backache a fair bit. I suspect its fairly common but do any of u ladies out there have any advice on how to cope with these symptoms?

I'm 3 days late today. I took 2 tests yesterday. 1 came back no and the other I couldnt see the lines very well. I've been on birth control since july. I started a different brand of pills in november and my doctor told me i could get preg. in the first month. Should i wait a few more days or buy more tests today?? Hey everybody i thought that i should explain thisa little better so here it is...

Just heard the heart tones and my doc said they're 144 beats per minute..so he said he thinks it's a girl. Anybody else want to share if their baby's heartrate matched what sex they were. (140 and under is supposed to be a boy, 141 and up is a girl.)

Okay, here goes... I was about a month pregnant, but then I started bleeding heavily and then it stopped. I went to see a nurse and she told me that it was a miscarriage. But I still have several symptoms like morning sickness, dizziness, breast tenderness, frequent urination, etc. Is it possible that I'm still pregnant even after this happened? Just to explore my options (I'm not pregnant) I was recently finding out how you get about getting an abortion... it says that two doctors have to agree that you can have one. The grounds on which are:

having the baby would harm the woman's mental or physical health more than having the abortion. This involves the woman explaining how she feels about the pregnancy to a doctor.
having the baby would harm the mental or physical health of any children she already has.

If it just wasn't a suitable time, and I couldn't support it properly would this count? What kind of reasons do GPs expect and pass as reason to have an abortion?

I am on cyclizine from the hospital but somedays it just doesn't do the job and other days it's so good I feel like I will never be sick again. Today is a bad day so I am stuck in the house with a sick bucket because it comes up so fast I can't get to the bathroom on time. help?
