i am 8 weeks pregnant and on the weekend i got a brown discharge,like after your period. it lasted for a half a day and then i started to bleed red blood. i had a few clots, which i know is a bad sign as ive had a miscarriage before. ive had a few cramps, they were not to bad though. i have a scan booked but it feels like ages away. as you can tell im still a bit hopeful its ok but im not getting my hopes too high. also my breasts arn't a tiny bit sore anymore.

My childs dad is only 15.. He is not ready for the child.. I completely understand that.. We had sex one time and used protection.... I know that if both of us weren't ready we souldn't have done it.. but we did... I love my parents and i think they will understand... and i just don't want to hurt them... And all of you that will say if you are grown up enough to spread your legs and stuff like that.. I don't need your opinion... If you were put in this situation you would be asking the exact same questions... When a person is pregnant they are already moody.. we don't need to deal with you! thanks...

What are your thoughts on pregnancy at 30 and above? I recently turned 30 and due to a career change and my decision to go back to school, i've put off having a baby. Yet, it's discouraging because everyone around me is having children and buying homes. I feel like the odd one out...almost regretting having waited so long (we've been married 6 years) and feeling like i've made bad decisions. Someone please reassure me that i'm not too old to have children.

We just found out we are pregnant. I am always so tired. So at night, i want to get some sleep. He wants to mess around. When i tell him i am too tired, he gets upset and says i dont find him attrative anymore. I do though. He is the most beautiful person i have ever met. I tell him all the time he is so hot to me. There's an awful lot of "eat well -- it's SO important for your baby!" but I'm not running into a lot to back it up.

There's some reasonably well-documented stuff on why and how bad things are bad (the alcohol hysteria is a bit overblown, but no mind), but would spending nine months eating junk food really cause that many problems? And, is nine months of the healthiest possible stuff really going to offer a tremendous advantage? Details, please!

(NB: I have always eaten a quite healthy diet; this is just curiousity.)

Infant,child,teen,adults are all humans at different stages in life. At 3 weeks theres a beating heart,at 8 weeks everything is present and functioning,though not fully formed. The baby has its own seperate DNA. There is not magical change in a baby from 9months gestation to 5 minutes later when he/she is a newborn. The baby is still just as needy,even more so. An infant can not live without someone to care for it. Just because the fetus is not yet fully formed dosent make the baby not a baby. If an adult went through trauma and lost his eyes,limbs,and became and his brain functioned like baby should he be put to sleep? because he is incapable of caring for himself(viability or how about your old mother who depends on a live in nurse cuz she cant live o her own? Its all about justification. You call it tissue until you decide you want it,then you call it baby.

I had a stage two US done when I was 15 weeks and My friends and I were looking at the 4d US pics when my friend said "your having twins?" she showed us what she was looking at and its deffintly a head, eyes, nose, lips, ears everything. Is it possible they could have missed a twin?

I went for my 37 wk check up and she told me I am 1cm dilated and 60% effaced. I know I can stay this way for quite some time. However since she did my check yesterday I have been bleeding (which she said woul happen) and I have been feeling really bloated and a little crampy. Does this normally happen after a check up. It's been just over 24 hours.

Also my belly is very tender when I touch it now....especially right around my belly button and it never was sore before. It's also really hard.

hi i'm 13 weeks pregnant today (yes) but i'm also being very scared... i feel that i'm not pregnant for the simple fact that i don't feel pregnant!!!! all i feel is sight tender breasts and hungary and gagging only in the moorings some time twinges now and again.... i have not any butterflies fleeing as i did in the 10 week!!! i had a scan and eveything is great but my next scan is 20 weeks!!!!!1

I am researching this topic for my own curiosity and there are many questions that I am going to inquire about. I want to hear everyone's opinion. I do have my own biases but will not name them here.
The first question has two parts.
I am asking you to forget what you currently believe about abortion and just answer the question as honestly as possible.

1. If an unborn baby is proven to be100% alive from conception, a living being, is it still okay to have an abortion?

2. If an unborn baby is proven to be 100% not alive, a lump of tissue, is it still okay to tell women they can't have an abortion?
