If I were qualified and had the expertise to perform an abortion, I most certainly would perform one. I used to be totally pro-life until I got into an abusive relationship with a person who molested my first child. I was very resentful to find out that a fetus and a gun-toting pedophile had more control over my body than I did. Until you are in the position to fully understand why women have abortions, you shouldn't be so judgemental.
Here is a question for you:
Would you be willing to adopt a child that could possibly have severe mental or physical problems, pay for them for the rest of your life, raise it on your own and live paycheck to paycheck just to support your pro-life position?

I’m pro-choice. I would not perform and abortion for the same reasons I would not brain surgery. I have a weak stomach. I also don't believe that abortion is right--but based on the facts lacking there is no point to discuss it.
The question here is not choice for me. It’s the lack of facts. There is no FACT as to when life begins. Is it at conception or birth. We cannot possibly create a law based on morals, beliefs, hypothesizes, and theories. Realistically, the US needs facts to support laws.
Is this all you have? Ranting about abortion on Y!A so that you can prove a point? Donate money and time towards the pro-life cause if that is really a passion of yours.

No, because I'm not a doctor and wouldn't know how to do it, nor do I have any intention of becoming a doctor. However, if my stance on abortion remained the same and I was a doctor, I would probably be willing to perform an abortion, yes.

I am both pro-choice and pro-life, meaning that I observe women's right to abortion, but I would not have one. So no, I wouldn't be willing to perform an abortion.

No, but only as I am not qualified as a medical practitioner to do such.
If I had the biology and medical teachings to back it up, I would have no issues.
