As long as they're cooked properly, yes...

Obviously, don't consume them raw or in any state when the yolk is not firm.

I buy pasteurized eggs, you might want to consider doing the same if you're worried-- they're safe to eat in any form.

Avoid eating raw eggs and food containing raw or partially-cooked eggs. Only eat eggs cooked enough for both the white and yolk to be solid. This is to avoid the risk of salmonella, which causes a type of food poisoning.

Yes you can eat eggs whilst you are pregnant. Don't eat raw eggs, or snotty ones. They used to tell you not to eat Mayonnaise but now the midwifes tell you it's ok to eat Mayonnaise as long as it's Hellman's. Just be sensible and you will be fine.

You can, but not in creme brulee, creme caramel, mayo etc as others mentionned.

One thing I feel I have to mention is to simply go easy on them, especially once you've had the baby (-ies) if you breastfeed. I was eating eggs like they were going out of fashion because they were just so easy to fry when I had no energy to feed myself. I thought "easy and nutricious".
My little girl was covered in rashes and I kept being told they were heat rashes from the snuggly time we had breastfeeding. I never quite bought it and gave her scrambled egg at 6 months on the advice of a health visitor. She went into shock, I nearly killed her because she is in fact severely allergic to egg... all by my fault. I had been poisonning her all that time!

She is nearly 3 and has to carry epipens everywhere she goes.

Have eggs if you like of course, but don't make the same mistake I made, be reasonable.
For the pregnancy I have just started, I am staying off most allergens as much as possible (peanuts, celery, tomatoes, strawberries, eggs, soya, citrus fruit and of course unpasteurised milk).

I hope I didn't scare you, I just wanted to avoid abother mum and baby (-ies?) potentially going through the same thing as us.

Take care and congratulations!

Yes. Provided that they are hard boiled, fried hard, poached hard in fact well cooked to kill off any likely hood of salmonella.
Also watch out for chocolate mouse puddings as they are made with raw eggs. Only use mayonnaise that is made from pasteurised eggs. Be on your guard against all egg products while you are pregnant.
Hope all goes well for you and wish you a wonderful and blessed Christmas.

It is recommended that if you eat eggs while pregnant (or old!!!) that you cook them for 20 minutes so any microbes or spores are killed. this i have to admit makes them foul to eat so i wouldnt botherand stick to other foods. If you need more information about eating eggs try the health department they have loads of information on it.

Just as long as the whole egg is thoroughly cooked. You don't want to risk getting salmonella poisoning.

yup. the protein is good for you. If you are worried about bacteria, just wash the egg shell with anti-bacterial dish soap before cracking the egg. ;-)

Yes, but not raw ( like in fresh mayo or certain desserts). Must be cooked properly to remove risk of salmonella.
