Firstly try sipping lemonade. Only small sips as often as you can, if you are still being sick tommorrow, ring the doctor and ask for suppositories to stop you being sick. I know it doesn't sound nice but they do work. Failing that, if the sickness continues you may have to go on a drip at the hospital because your sugar and salt levels have dropped too much. I have had 4 children and two of them I was so ill that in the end I was admitted to hospital and given an anti-sickness injection, I also had a drip to bring up my salt and sugar levels. It is better to have the supposidaries, because you can't sick it back up.

Have you tried different anti-nauseants, or is cyclizine the first you have tried? With my 4 pregnancies, I was on Phenyrgan* (the spelling might be wrong)* and although it didnt make me 100 % it helped. The way I took it was I downed it and a half glass of water before I even got out of bed, and then I forced myself to choke down some toast, banana , or whatever it was that I could stand, and layed in bed for about 20 mins. until it kinda kicked in. Then, I started my day. You have to make sure that you take it on time and before you feel really sick.
I also found that snacking regularly whether I felt like it or not helped. Hope this helps you! I know the feeling of severe morning sickness......I think that labor is easier!
If the cyclizine just isnt doing it after you try the methods I have told you, consider talking to your Dr. about changing meds. Or you could wait it out, it should be gone by about 15-16 weeks.....Then you'll be eating everything in sight!

HER Hyperemesis Education and Research have a good page on the web and they might be able to help. I have no knowledge or experience (myself or others) of this and I hope my suggestions are not impertinent or insensitive. It sounds as if you are going through Hell at the moment. I am sorry.
Sipping any fluid can help with dehydration, especially if it has a spoonful of sugar and a pinch of salt in. Is it easier to keep tablets or capsules down ? Could you take vitamin and mineral supplements that way to help ? The previous suggestions of suppositories sounds a good one to try and encourage regular movements in your bowls again. I hope what little I have suggested offers you some thing to consider. I hope you don't become so bad you have to go to hospital and good luck with your pregnancy.

I am sorry you have to deal with this. If it gets to bad you may have to go to the hospital for IV fluids and medications. Your electrolytes will get out of whack and nothing will help until you can stop vomiting. And if they are unbalanced already chances are that you will not be able to stop vomiting without treatment.
I had this with 3 out of 4 pregnancies and once I started getting sick, it would not stop until I got to the ER for treatment. There were days I would vomit 50-60 times.
If the medications you were given are not helping, talk to the Dr. about a different type. They have many different ones available now and hopefully one can help you get to feeling better.
Good Luck!

Hi, I had never heard of this, so googled it - and found some people's stories.

I really feel for you, even though I only had mild nausea - sometimes it is helpful to read other people's stories in the same situation as you.
How many weeks are you? Hopefully you will soon feel better.
