I'm 24 weeks pregnant and within the past few weeks I have just began to feel my baby daughter kicking. My question is, somedays she moves all day long and all night. It seems like she just wont stop, and the kicks/movements are very strong. And other days, I will only feel her once or twice a day, and it seems like she barely moves at all. Then the next day, she's back to kicking and moving all over. Why is this?

My mom is planning my baby shower..and she is going to make the food, with all of our family..including me, I intend on helping :)
we like to cook!
That being said....It will be a luncheon...
BESIDES pasta and meatballs, toss salads, rolls, chips, fruit platters,veggie platters, and cold cuts What else would you like to see on a menu for a luncheon baby shower.. with approx 80 people. Of course there will be a cake too. Kepp in mind, we want to keep the cost somewhat down, yet, we want a good variety. Catering the event would bee tooooooo exspensive. So your thoughts please :)

i know what babyshowers are for the baby but is it wrong to think that a mother should get something that caters to just them. I know that the gifts are for you but is more catered to your baby is it selfish to want something that is just for you. This is just question i was just thinking. not my own personal views.

Okay I am 2 weeks and four days late. I do not have morning sickness. But Around the nipple it isalot darker and i have little white specks in the center of it. I took a test when i was 13 days late. I am usally about 3-4 days late and no more, and i mean never anymore than that. I do sometimes get dizzy and feel a bit nauseaus (sp?). But not all the time. Could I be pregnant? And does being pregnant make you go poop more, because i have been doing that alot lately. And I have also been more hungry than normal. Please if you can help, answer my question...........If this helps my last period was October 6th to the 12th.

woman to choose abortion? I think that this is the MOST cowardly of all possible positions; KNOWING that abortion is murder but being unwilling to take a stand, even only a VERBAL stand. If you are pro-life and you are faced with this response from someone, keep in mind the following;

"Some abortion-rights advocates, in response to pro-life arguments, emote such bumper-sticker slogans as: "Pro-choice, but personally opposed," "Don't like abortion, don't have one," or "Abortion is against my beliefs, but I would never dream of imposing my beliefs on others." These slogans attempt to articulate in a simple way a common avenue taken by politicians and others who want to avoid the slings and arrows that naturally follow a firm position on abortion. It is an attempt to find "a compromise" or "a middle ground"; it's a way to avoid being labeled "an extremist" of either camp.

The real problem is that she was never a health consious person and now she has a problem with the vitamins prescribed by her doctor for her prenatal period despite my endless efforts to explain the importance of these pills she seems to get frustrated and angry when I try to advise her on her nutrition, or even purchase healthy foods for her to eat, I know that the pregnancy causes physiological and psycological changes to occur but she should understand something as simple and logical as that right? andplease don't think that I am not a patient man I am but I just so scared for her and the child we are about to have and yes i have gotten other relatives to speak to her but she says one thing infront of them and then does otherwise when she is alone what can i possibly do? i love her very much and dont want to see her hurt.
