I found relief in doing stretching exercises. Raise your hands way above your head like you're touching the sky. When you lie down you can also lay on your side with your arms above your head. It will expand your ribcage and give your baby more room.

My sister had this problem, but she also had twin boys in there. The doctor said not only is it from the baby pushing around in there, but now is the time when your cartilage starts getting that hormone to make it looser for your pelvic bones (don't remember what it's called exactly), but that hormone also affects your other "jointed" areas, such as the ribs & knees. During my first pregnancy I really noticed it kick in with my hips. It seemed they would ache & pop about everytime I would get up or down. Hold in there just a little longer!

Oh YES! I had this too, with my son (3rd pregnancy). I think it was from him getting bigger and pushing on my ribs to try to stretch out his own limbs. I didn't find anything to stop the pain, except delivering the baby.

i did have that Problem ,With my last two ..It was like the baby kicked the living crap out of them..Remember your uterus is HUGE right now..so All your Organs had to go somewhere Pushing up into your ribs,Making everything sore and uncomfy,Sadly You wont feel much relief From it till Either the baby Drops,Or You have him or her.
GOOD LUCK!!

Rest assured that is most likely what it is, but if you want confirmation, see your Dr. to be on the safe side.
In the last stage of pregnancy, the baby can truly give you a run for your money! They have their little feet and hands on some of everything! JUst take it easy and if you think you can, try puching your stomach a bit to try and get the baby to adjust how he/she is resting.

YES ITS DEFINITELY THE BABY PRESSING AGAINST YOUR RIBCAGE BECAUSE THE BABY IS GETTING BIGGER AND THERE'S NOT MUCH ROOM. IT'S EITHER GOING TO PRESS ON YOUR RIBS OR ON YOUR BLADDER AND CAUSE DISCOMFORT.

It could be pressure, gas, heartburn and just sleeping or leaning wrong..it should go away but if it does get worse, see your doctor
If it's sore or tender to touch it's an outside cause, it it's inside it could even be from coughing or laughing hard..
