My mom is planning my baby shower..and she is going to make the food, with all of our family..including me, I intend on helping :)
we like to cook!
That being said....It will be a luncheon...
BESIDES pasta and meatballs, toss salads, rolls, chips, fruit platters, veggie platters, and cold cuts What else would you like to see on a menu for a luncheon baby shower.. with approx 80 people. Of course there will be a cake too. Kepp in mind, we want to keep the cost somewhat down, yet, we want a good variety. Catering the event would bee tooooooo exspensive. So your thoughts please :)

The menu you have sounds perfectly fine for a luncheon baby shower. It is a nice variety and something for everyone seems to be included. I wouldn't add a thing to it.

Sounds like you have enough but throw some sweets in there. I just went to a babyshower and that was pretty much the same menu and there was plenty and don't count on everyone showing up, because they wont. Good Luck

My baby shower just passed and everyone in my immediate family brought in a dish. It really dont cost much if you get everyone to bring in a dish. We did meatballs, chicken wings, hot wings, mac & cheese, pasta salad, seafood salad, ham biscuits, and potato salad. We had alot of food and it didnt cost me a dime!!

How about sending me an invite to this great party. That is alot of people. My suggestion is stick with the finger foods go to the stores that have sales and make your own party trays. Good luck on the baby.

pigs in a blanket, pork and beans, easy things liek that. most people will be smoozing and snacking, not eating a full meal. keep in ind that if you invite 80, more than likely tou'll get around 50-60. it's rare if everyone shows to a shower or wedding, ect.
