Closer.
Call your midwife or call the doctor.

A bit of urgency to go to the loo can be a sign of extra pressure but then you might just have a bad stomach. I wouldn't say it's really a useful sign. Your false labour last week is probably a much better sign that it won't be too long. I know from the thorough research into every possable sign I did at the end of my last pregnancy. Only to find there are no scientific signs but going into full labour and having a baby. Good luck champ!

yes, I have read everywhere that loose stools are a sign of labor approaching...it's the body cleansing before all the pushing you'll have to do. Usually it's anywhere from now to 48 hours. Try to eat just light meals so that you don't have any "oops" in the delivery room. I think real labor is very close. Congratulations.

It doesn't mean you are in labor but it might be something to push you into labor. That is why some suggest drinking Castor oil (I did.) The cramps from your bowels moving causes contractions. Good luck and it's better to have diarrhea before than pushing something out during!

Your system may just be upset. If it's painful call your doctor and ask-he or she knows your pregnancy the best. Follow you instinct in this situation...but beware acess pushing with diarreah could lead into labor more than you are ready too. In the end, I would just call the doctor. Hope this helps! =)

It can be. Remember to drink a lot of water since you're expelling so much through the diarrhea. Congrats

I read that you can have diarrhea and nausea along with your contractions. You could be pretty close to delivery. If it continues I would check with your doc especially if they are becoming more frequent. Good luck!!
