The guy has the option of running to the hills. The woman carries the baby, goes through labour, picks up most (in some cases all) of the finances, the doctors appoinments and groceries and shopping...

So why does the woman have to be strong, while everyone else freaks out? Who supports the woman?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant now for a while. I am very regular on my periods and I know when I ovulate. I am 20 yrs old. I am 5 days late for my period. On the first day I took a pregancy test and it was a very pale/light positive sign. I waited a few days later and I took another one and it was negative. I have never been late before. This may sound gross but my vaginal secretions are really heavy. I did have a few little cramps a few days ago but they are now gone. My breasts are really sore and every once in a while I feel a little nautious. Any ways could I still be pregnant? Please help, thank you!!!

I ovulated on the 6th and had sex that day...i have been trying to concieve...my period is late but i don't have any symptoms except being tired all the time and breast a little tender to the touch....what could cause me to be late?

the doctor yesterday told me to stay in bed as much as possible y is that can something be wrong with my son i wouldnt stand nothing happening to him he is my life...but i feel like he is gonna pop out of the cause he doesnt like it when im sitting or laying down.........my question is y did the doctor put me on bedrest so early in pregnant i look 6 months not 4

I am tempted to tell, even though it is too early for 2 reasons... I just want to. And reason two is that I work in health care and there is alot of lifting and pushing and physical work in geriatrics. I can still do the work, but cannot be as aggresive with the moving and lifting of adult residents. Also IF people are in isolation, I will have to wear a mask now. What would you do?

I've had unprotected sex with my boyfriend before but never until he ejaculated, we usually stopped awhile before then. There were a few times when it came close though, and I know that pre-ejaculate can contain more sperm than actual ejaculate. I had sex with him on a thursday night and started my period the next morning. It was much shorter and more painful than usual. I was just wondering when the best time would be to take a pregnancy test (to be sure) because I didn't actually miss a period? I don't need a lecture though, I am an adult. Some people don't seem to understand that running to the doctor for every little thing is ridiculous and sometimes unfeasible. I was hoping there would be some women on here with knowledge of the subject. Thank you.

My husband and I last had sex on the eighth...my period is not late but I had some very slight bleeding yesterday and a little today...about an ounce total. I am not due for my period for aboput another week. I dont want to to a home pregnancy test yet because I dont want to get my hubbys hopes up.

she was pregnant and she was 43 years old but she had some bleeding......so then she went to the doctor and told her what happened so they did an ultrasound at 5 weeks and couldnt see nothing.....then 2months later she was still getting positive pregnantcy tests and you know does thing were they put something in your belly just to hear the heartbeat and my mom could hear it perfectly but then the doc did another ultrasound and couldnt see the babt or the heartbeat and this was the same day.......but then she had to go get a abortion cause the doctor didnt see nothing so when my mom asked the doc if it was in there and they couldnt see it they would not say anyting.......

I'm almost 30wks and my uterus is about 1-2in. below my ribs. Will it reach them or should it have already been there by now?? Yes I do get to all my prenatal appt. My tummy is small and compact too, but he's always moving in there....do babies that aren't growing right still move like crazy and have 150heart rates???

i had sex for the first time and my bf did use a condom but he thought it broke so he checked..it wasnt broke but he had some of his sperm on his fingers and forgot so he went to check that i didnt have any of his on my so he inserted his fingers..Now i no this was the stupidest thing I EVER DID and yes i am stupid and should have been more careful but could i be pregnant? i started my period 3 days ago and had sex 2 weeks ago is it possible?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and had been having sharp shooting pains deep inside my vagina today, possibly cervical area. They come and go quickly, but are there long enough to make me stop what I am doing. They occur when sitting and standing.

Later on, the pains also seem to be just above my pubic bone and seem to be worse when I stand. So they are happening in both places.

This is baby #2, I have had no bleeding, Braxton Hicks contractions, plenty of movement. Baby is not breech, no complications during this pregnancy. Not really concerned because there is no bleeding or other symptoms, just wondering what it could be.

I just had my 2nd daughter in 15 months by c-section. I waited to have sex the first time for the whole 6 weeks+. My husband is really having a hard time waiting this time. My daughter will be 5 weeks in 2 days. Is it too soon to have sex and what are the risks after a c-section?
