I'm almost 30wks and my uterus is about 1-2in. below my ribs. Will it reach them or should it have already been there by now?? Yes I do get to all my prenatal appt. My tummy is small and compact too, but he's always moving in there....do babies that aren't growing right still move like crazy and have 150heart rates???

I wish i had your body when i was carrying my twins!!!!Your baby is fine sweetie, don't be nervous,or compare yourself to other pregnant women. As long as you and the baby are healthy that is all that matters.Having a boy? If you get away with not having your baby in your ribs, believe me you are not missin much!!!!! Good luck to you,and you are going to be fine.

I have had 3 babies and one on the way and Ive never ever felt one of my babies kick me in the ribs or anything like lots of other women talk about. So I guess mine never did, but Im tall too so I guess that is why. I did have a dr tell me once that my baby seemed small because the uterus was low, but 2 days later I had an 8 lb 8 oz baby. Your fine.

You may have a low lying uterus. mine is and I'm carrying really, really low. Though I'm only 23 weeks, mine hasn't reached my belly button yet. And I waddle sometimes, usually when I have to pee because everything, baby and full bladder is all down so low. Don't worry, your doctor would have told you if there was something to be alarmed about.

You probably will get to your ribs. He'll start growing like crazy these last 10 weeks, it will blow your mind! I always felt like I was getting kicked in the ribs! Good luck!

I would think that if something was not right, your OB would have said something...
Maybe you should speak up at your next appt. and ask? That is what you pay them for, afterall...
