hello im 19 yrs old my boyfriend and i have been dating for 3yrs , but and way i was wonder can u have bleeding when pregnant or think u r ? if so how much?i was also wonder what does it look like usually? i have a regular 7 days peroid , but this month it only lasted 4 days and now im spotting very little and its brownish red,i have been feeling tired,mooded and hungry ,and bloated can i be pregnant but not now it or is this normal,i took a pregnancy test because i was a day late and i was feeling nause but i didnt get sick

I just posted a question about being pregnant and it made me think of something else. I heard from a mother that she felt like she was going to get her period for months until she found out that she was pregnant. Has anyone else gone through that? How careful should you be if you are pregnant? I mean around your stomach..what precautions should you take so you dont hurt the baby early.

My wife is pregnant and refuses to get out of bed. She took a test last Tuesday and said it was positive with twins. Monday she quit her job and refuses to leave the bed because she says the baby wants her to lie down. She said I have to do all the laundry and cleaning and sent out applications for me to get a second job to supplement our income. Is this really something women should do when they are pregnant? Is it normal to stay in bed all day and night? When I got home from work yesterday the couch was still warm where she was sitting for hours(?) and eating cookies and drinking chablis, yet she still insists that the babies want her to remain in bed at all times. It's going to be a long 18 months - I never knew twins meant you were pregnant for twice as long...

My period was due the 23rd of this month (it's always on time). I still haven't started. I have been feeling I was pregnant for weeks now. I took a test today and it was negative. With my son I had a urine test done, it came back negative. Then a week later my Dr. took a blood test and it came back postive and I was 6 weeks pregnant. Could it happen again????? When should I take another test???? Really can't afford a blood test....... Thanks

I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I spotted all last week.....brown...no red or pink...just brown...and not much...but enough to make me think I was going to get my period. Then it didn't come. So I tested and got a positive. Then I had a blood test to confirm. The nurse said that spotting happens to some woman. She said that if something had been wrong with the baby or if there had been a problem that the blood test would not have shown I was pregnant. So I'm pregnant....and I'm still spotting a little. Smaller than last week. How long does it last? It drives me crazy. It is such a small amount and only faintly colored tan....could it just be drainage? I see the OB for the first time tomorrow. I'm just really anxious.

I don't think it is, I'm a mom of 2 and pregnant with my 3rd, so I would think I was a bit of an expert. But my guy friend just called me and is freaking out because a girl he met and slept with 2 weeks ago just called him and told him she is 2 weeks pregnant. I don't think I ever knew when I was 2 weeks pregnant, i was always atleast 6-9 weeks along when I found out. What do you think?

I'm 35 1/2 wks (due Nov 26) and I've been dealing with a lot of stomach and pelvic "discomfort." To help ease this, I laid the heating pad on my stomach/abdomen on top of my blanket. It must have helped because I ended up going back to sleep (for a few hours). The heat wasn't enough to burn me or turn my skin red, but my stomach was warm to the touch for a few minutes after I got up - that's when I began to worry whether or not I could've hurt the baby. At this point in the pregnancy, are there any major risks? I don't plan on using the heating pad anymore - this has worried me sick all day. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and if the baby was ok.

So I had sex for the first time. We used condoms and I've been on the pill for 5-6 months now. It was right before my period, and I'm a little worried I might be pregnant. I'm three days late. Would it be common if I missed my period after the first time of having sex and so close to my period?

The most recent time my partner and I had sex, was a day or 2 before I was to begin ovulating. Granted, I am usually irregular, I've been on time the last 3 months. With that said, there was no condom nor pulling out this time or the day before I had started my period for this month. So, is there a high chance ?

If you do Kegel exercises while pregnant, does that tighten up the inside of the vagina, I'm talking about the round hole itself (birth canal).

I'm just wondering because if you tighten up those muscles around that hole, won't that make it harder for the baby to come out.

We did it 4 times. I pulled out before i came, but im worried that i might have pre-ejaculated in her, dont think i did, but there's alot of sperm involved if you do it four times directly after each other.

Not my question is has any one out there used the "morning after" pill? Did it work? And did you had any side effects?
