or a hard to reach cervix and still had a normal delivery with no problems.

I had a retroverted uterus (tilted back). I delivered my children natural without any problems.
There was only one difference directly linked to the cervix being slanted...while in labor. It is harder and a lil more painful when they are checking your dilation.
Good Luck,
T

I had two normal deliveries with a tilted cervix. I unfortunately also had two miscarriages.

The further along you get in the pregnancy - the less the tipped cervix becomes a problem. Good luck

Well, in the 70's, doctors gave EVERY woman an episiotomy with all of her deliveries, and I haven't heard of complications. I had an episiotomy the first time, and it wasn't until about 7 months that it no longer hurt to have sex. There is no reason why you can't have a vaginal delivery again. If worst comes to worst, they can give you another episiotomy, which I guess is preferable to a c-section. I have been told that many women go on to have normal deliveries next time round. My friend just had her second and had no tearing, after an episiotomy for her first. This time I am having a water birth, which helps soften your perineum to prevent tearing, and will also be massaging my perineum and scar tissue with olive oil in my third trimester. It will stretch just like other skin, don't stress about it!

My uterus and cervix were tipped back with my first pregnancy. I had no problem at all during delivery. Usually a tipped cervix is nothing to worry about.

I have a tilted cervix and all it did was make it more difficult for me to conceive. My delivery with my 4 year old son went perfect and so far, this pregnancy is going good.

My ex had this problem. It depends on how much your cervix is tilted. If it is tilted to much, like my ex, it can and it will kill you. My ex and I had 3 kids, all cesarean. You should has you OBGYN if you can handle it. He will most likely say either nay or will can try it and if you cannot deliver regularly we can do a cesarean.

Good Luck

My sister has an inverted uterus as well as myself. However, I have not "delivered" children yet but she has had two boys. She had normal vaginal deliveries with both boys & actually had both totally natural (no drugs). You'll be fine. Try not to worry & congrats!!

I didn't, but a friend of mine did. She ended up having to be induced (not because of the cervix, but because her blood pressure was high) but delivered the baby vaginally and everything was fine.
