Pregnancy - October 2006

It's the first time i'm having my period after having a miscarriage, and i am late. I took a pergnancy test, and it tested negative. I did not think it would test positive, as i was safe everytime. But I am late, 2 weeks now, and i'm starting to wonder if this is normal, and if anyone else experienced the same thing, or know of someone who did. Please help.

my friend had a misscarriage, 2 weeks later while i was consoling her we became emotional & had unprotected sex twice in a day. i ejaculated twice but outside of her vagina, near her pubic region. will she become pregnant?

The doctor prescribed my wife folic acid, rushed through some standard allergy/current medication questions, calculated a due date and said that a midwife would contact us at approximately week 10-11 to arrange a scan for week 12.

From other answers I've seen I'm not feeling very confident that we've had the right level of attention. Other people seem to have been prescribed vitamins, had blood and urine tests, pelvic/urethra exams, amongst other things. We were told that the surgery didn't even do pregnancy tests of their own.

- Is there a standard procedure that all UK GPs must follow when a patient visits following a positive home test?

- Is waiting ten to twelve weeks for any contact and tests/examinations sensible? What if there are problems with the baby and its development? Not wishing to start a different subject (and loathe to even think about it) but what if there is a medical reason that an abortion needs to be carried out, but we don't learn this until week twelve?

How common are skin rahes in early pregnancy? Red itchy bumps, far apart, they look like pimples on chest and stomach. There are only a few. Is it common?

Is this normal this ealry in pregnancy? I am not drinking to many fluids before bed and I do not have to pee that much during the day. It is driving me nuts and I am not getting enough sleep. I knew that this happened in pg, but not this early. I have my first doctor appt Thursday..... Thanks!!

Hi. I am really confused because I had my last period on september 2 and i have been having cramps over my right or left ovary (sometimes both) all day for 3 days but they are light like when you ovulate. my breasts are bigger but not sore and i have no other symptoms that i am pregnant or that my period is coming. i took a hpt yesterday at around 3 pm and it turned neg in 45 seconds. any ideas?

okay so i took a pregnancy test this morning and there was a dark pink line and a very faint pink line, i have had all the symptoms like nausea tiredness, swollen boobs and goin to the bathroom alooooot,i am not supposed to start untill the next couple of days do u think im pregnant or is that line just an evaporation line the brand of the test was first response!!

i have breast milk n i have never gotten pregnant or i think i once had a miscarraige now i am trying to and i cant and 1 doctor tells me that its becouse of the breastmilk any1 kno if this is tru and what can i do is it tru that getiing on birthcontrol for a couple months would help

we've tried everything but the doc won't recomend fertility drugs yet. I have kids of my own, and they were surprises. Any ideas will be very helpful.
