It can be different for every woman, but generally, there is the missed period, the 'extremely' sore/tender breasts, they get quite hard.
Also, I found in the beginning, to be very hungry, always have crackers nearby (even while driving) to help the hunger and fight the nausea.
Some people experience lightheadedness and morning sickness (vomiting) which I might add is NOT restricted to morning time--this can happen at any time throughout the day.
And you will find you also get very, very tired. You'll want to fall asleep just about anywhere at any time of the day.
Yes, you can take a pregnancy test before you miss the period. Some tests can be done 3-5 days before your period is due.
I did a home test 2 days before mine was due and it came out positive.
The doctor confirmed it 2 days later with a blood test.

You can take a test up to 5 days before your missed Period(I would suggest the First Response brand) Signs of pregnancy vary from woman to woman. Some have nausia, tiredness, ect. Others don't have any at all. The most common symptom is a missed period. That should throw a red flag.

Signs vary from person to person. The 1st one is usually a late period. You can now test a few days BEFORE a late period though.

yes, you can detect a preg up to ten days before a missed period, but its better to wait until you miss one.
All women are different, but besides a missed period you may feel nausea, vomiting, tired, breasts may hurt and tingle, and you'll feel somewhat "different". But, I didn't feel preg when I took the pregnancy test 2 days after I missed my period, so, as I said before, you will feel differently than I did!

The first signs are you have morning sickness, you miss a period, and a sudden weight gain.
