Its strange, I feel everything she is going through, like sympathy pains I suppose, I thought only spouses felt these feelings? Anybody been through this?

Its not just for spouses. I live with my sister who's 38 weeks pregnant, and i get sympathy pains for her all the time. Its usually the person who is closest to the pregnant woman. Congrats!!

hi im preganant only found out 2 days ago so dont now how far gone i am yet but my sister rn me yersterday saying that she is having my morning sickness and she had the sympathy pains with my first daughter it is common.

Pregnant women have a lot of energy! My sister was radiant with happiness when she was pregnant and I would feel my energy moving to a higher level when next to her. Probably when they feel pain it is the same, they 'convey' it, and people who are close get to feel it as if it was of their own.

aww, its not just for the spouse or child's father. it's whomever is close to her. my best friend that lives 3 hours away has mine also. it's kinda funny but i feel badly for her because mine havnt been as intense as her's. lol

i've never felt it myself but one of my best mates would get morning sickness when his gf was pergnant which i thort was grate! an
