i know that i just asked a question but i was also wondering....i have heard from a lot of people that its a good idea to have a glass of wine to try to relax your body to help your cervix dilate and maybe help you get labor going...well i dont have anything but red wine in the house and i cant stand red...i do have a few beers in the fridge that my husband hasnt drank yet...does it make a difference if i had a beer instead of a glass of wine??

i am 27 years old had a c section and 2 normel deliveries.now my baby is 4 months old .i am a lactating mother.and have backace+piles.and iam 20 kg overwight i had a c section so what can i do and what type of excercises can i perform control my wieght my csection was performed becase i had appendix which had to be removed andthese operations were performed 4 months ago

i went to the dr today and she stripped my membranes...im 3cm dilated....and i went walking for like 2 hours after at the mall....since i have been home my dog has been up my butt she wont leave my side. she went as far as to climb into the big overstuffed chair i was in and sit with me...which is unusual seeing as how she is a good 80lbs....she isnt a lap dog. she usually doesnt stay so close to me except for before my husband gets home from work and i am in bed or in the morning after he gets out of bed....is it possible she senses that labor is coming better then i do? i know dogs have a sense about things....i know it seems far fetched but is it possible i am going to be going into labor soon and she can sense that??

I have 2 very large tatoos in progress that I have been working on for the last 2yrs. I use the same artist every time since they are his wonderful works of art. I am 8wks pregnant and want to continue my regular work on these pieces. Is it safe? I am not worried about the cleanliness or anything like that. But is there any other issues to worry about?

If I had my last cycle on Aug 31st, does that mean I am 4 weeks pregnant or 2? I want to know what the fetus looks like right now but Im not sure if I should look at the 2 week or 4 week? So for instance if I start to show at 15 weeks will that be 15 weeks from aug 31 or 15 weeks from mid September?

I just found out that I am pregnant. I am very early in the pregnancy- only two days late for my period. I am concerned about miscarriage bc I read the rate is 20%. Okay, I am only in my 10th week and don't know yet whether I am having a girl or boy. But I found the *cutest* nursery theme stuff with pink butterflies online! They have matching lampshades, nightlights, crib set, growth chart, etc..

But it is pretty girly and I would only want to use it for a girl, but I am afraid if I wait till I find out what I'm having it will be sold out. My husband of course would rather we have "sports" or "racecars" as theme for the nursery (uggh!)

I am thinking if it IS a boy, I can return it, right? Or should I hold off till things are more certain? When did YOU buy your nursery stuff and did you already know your baby's sex?
