does anyone get cramps when they're close to ovulating?

i do every month but mine is weird because you ovulate form one ovary at a time so they take turns one monthe the left relaeses an egg the next month the right does so i get cramps on the side that i release on lol

I do, but the cramps are usually on one side or the other, and not as intense as menstrual cramps.

I get them, but my ob told me it was because of the cyst I have on my left ovary. So, I don't know what is normal! Good Luck

yeah, happens to just about everyone, personally im usually6 doubled up in pain! it happens due to the egg pushing through your ovary and through into the fallopian tubes. perfectly normal and common symptom.
