They approximate babies to deliver at 40 weeks, but this can go two weeks in either direction, so you could be ready to deliver. Get packed up and make sure all your baby stuff is in order. Do not get too excited though because you can have braxton hicks for up to 4 weeks before delivering. Good Luck to you. The birth of my two babies was the most exciting, scary, wonderful, emotional, and breath taking moment of my life. I hated pregnancy, but the birth was a moment to remember. Make sure to keep a focal point when contractions get strong. It helped me to calm myself enough to not hurt my husband.

sounds like you may be going into labor soon. It didnt happen like that for my wife but according with things that I have read that is what is supposed to happen. my wife was also dilated 1 cm for about a month.

It is part of nesting. Do you feel like cleaning house, running a marathon. Not much longer to go now. Good luck and easy labor.

I gave birth to my daughter after nesting all day. My water broke in the shower after I scrubbed the bathtube out really good. Always all your doctor if you have a question or just to see what she thinks!

Yes, quite normal....your body is gearing up. You're getting the "nesting" insticts...must be up, doing something, getting things ready. Be prepared because you're sooo close to being a momma!! Good luck to you! :)
