You can see it on an ultrasound but I think it's too soon for the doctor to pick it up with the doppler. If it's one of those home ones then yes it's def. too soon.

You might can see it with an ultrasound. But my doctor didn't even try to listen until 10 weeks. Of course, I'm 19 weeks now and she still has never been able to hear it with the doppler (although I've had 3 perfectly normal ultrasounds.) I think it's too early to hear yours yet.

Absolutely. My daughter is pregnant with our first grandchild. When she was 7 weeks along, she began bleeding. She went to her OB who did a vaginal ultrasound and they were able to hear the baby's heartbeat at that time. Thankfully, the bleeding and cramping have stopped and we should be adding another member to our family about April 26.

the baby has a heartbeat at 7 weeks which you can see in an ultrasound but probably not hear from a Doppler. the earliest i ever heard a heartbeat was 11 weeks and it also depends on how skinny you are.

Hi. Yes you can. I heard my baby's at 6 weeks. If you are very heavy and overweight, you may not be able to hear it for a little whil though.

No, it's too small to hear with a doppler. The ultrasound tech should be able to see it using a transvaginal ultrasound.

yes, but it has to be during an ultrasound. its not until about 12 weeks that the doctor can hear the heartbeat during a regular checkup.

Yes, you can. Either through a normal or vaginal ultrasound. I heard mine at 7 wks, 3 days with just a regular ultrasound.
