Pregnancy - September 2006

okay I am 35 weeks pregnant and I have had heartburn the whole time but the last two weeks have been killer. Tums arent working anymore, and saltines arent either. I know dairy is bad but all I crave is chocolate ice cream and milk shakes. I was told that makes it worse. I have been waking up at night its so bad. Any more suggestions besides tums and saltines because they arent doing it. Im seeing the doc. on wed. but just wondering till then. Also I have been having these needle like pains at the bottom of my stomach in between my pelvic bones, my friend told me that was my body softening my cervix and me starting to dialate..is this true? Thanks for all your help!

What is the earliest week in pregnancy that the baby's gender can be determined? My next ultrasound is Wednesday and it will be my 16th week. Can they tell the gender this early?

im 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby girl and extremly tired..i thought he 2nd trimester was suppposed to be easy..im only 15 sooo i guess that could be it but with my first son i was never like this!!!!

why am i soooo tired???

I know that NOT having sex is the best kind of birth control, but I AM having sex and want to know. At my doc app this morning I was dilated to a two. That was about 10 hrs ago and since then I kind of feel like I could be in labor. My back is killing me and my stomach hurts every so often. I went into labor at 32 weeks but still couldn't tell when I was having contractions. The monitor would say I had one, but I still felt the same. Anyway I don't know if I am having contractions but my back hurts so bad I would almost give myself an epidural (just kidding). The baby was still for the longest, but since I've layed down she has started to move. Will they move when you are in true labor? Does anyone think I'm having contractions? I've been drinking water, but it makes me feel like throwing up and I have a really bad headache. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I am 19 and I love my girlfriend very much, but lately we have been having sex without a condom. If we use one she breaks out down below and hurts really bad because she is allergic to latex. Well anyways, I have been using the pull out method and coming on her lower stomach. When semen hits air does it die, or is there a chance she can get pregnant since I come all over her stomach?

I dont really have a question I guess. Just looking for someone who maybe has more than one child who could give me some reassurance. This is my first baby, and I worry about this child all the time. I'm 16 weeks along, and Ive saw my baby on ultrasound and it was moving, I heard the heartbeat & it was 150 bpm and my doctor has told me everything was alright. But I still cant sleep at night because I am so worried about my baby, and for no reason at all. I worry that because I cant feel it yet, or because it dosnt do anything right now that its not alright. Can someone just tell me it will be alright and I am worrying for no reason!!

and i have a UTI, which makes the normal pregnancy cramping even WORSE. i am tired one minute, the next im wide awake. not alot of morning sickness, thank god. but i have like no energy and im so MEAN to everyone. my blood pressure is extra high, any advice on keeping your cool when everything he does seems to make your blood BOIL? and anything i can do for the fatigue but sleep and wait? lol
