In the early weeks thrue the middle of the third trimester of pregnacy is it possible for your partner to put you into pre -term labor if he is "big" ? i am almost 32 weeks pregnant.

WELL, I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH PRETERM LABOR IN MY 7TH MONTH AND MY DOCTOR SAID NO SEX AND BED REST! MY DOCTOR SAID THAT IT COULD CAUSE EXTRA STRESS ON MY CERVIX AND HE DID NOT WANT TO RICK IT!BUT IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PENIS SIZE!** PLEASE TALK ABOUT IT WITH YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU HAVE AN CONCERNS! NOPE.Unless your at high risk for preterm labor than nothing should be in your vagina ,at the end of pregnancy semen can soften the cervix which can help move things along if your baby/body is ready but at this stage no penis large or small will cause preterm labor...you may however feel some tightening in your belly after orgasm and thats fine and normal.

Having sex can cause you to have contractions which lead to labor. The prostiglandin in the sperm cause contractions. I wouldn't think the size would matter, but it is more uncomfortable the further along you get. MY hubby and I had sex when I was 32 weeks and 4 hours later I was bleeding so I went to the hosp. and I was dilated and contracting. Go ahead and have sex if you haven't been having problems but if you have any side effects go to the hosp to get it stopped.

Orgasms make your cervix contract which in turn causes labor. I have also heard something about the semen. But, size doesn't matter that I know of. My husband is well endowed and I went 40 weeks with my son and 39 with my daughter.

I dont think its the size that matters in that case. What can cause labor to happen is the sperm, it softens and helps dialate the cervix and having orgasms help start contractions. But even this wont happen unless your body is ready for it.

a friend of mine has 3 boys and her first two were deliverd early at around week 34 or 35 because they were like 10 lbs or something and another close friend of mine had her daughters deliverd 2 weeks early because they were too small they were born at 5 lbs

No. Sperm softens the cervix. Your orgasm stimulates your uterus to contract. Size has nothing to do with pre term labor.

You would need to talk to your doctor..I aked mine the same thing since i am 4 months pregent she told me no but you still have to be carefull..Good luck with your pregency

i don't think so..my ex husband was huge and he didn't put me into labor..you are probably used to sex with him so it doesn't see odd to your body..

don't have sex this late. it safer to abstain from sex at this point.your baby is more important. even masturbation make the uterus spasm--if you must, then just masturbate. sorry orgasms make the uterus contract...
