Pregnancy - September 2006

I'm 8 wks pregnant & have just had 2 weeks off work. First week I was on holidays, but last week I was terribly ill & couldn't come to work. I'm back work today, not my usual happy self, but hanging in there & working to the best of my ability. My boss who I have a fabulous relationship with has just suggested offering me a package to finish up soon! I didn't expect that at all & am shocked by his response. He is a very good boss, extremely sensitive & sympathetic, however, this reaction has surprised me. He then backtracked & offered to try & work something out. I'm a personal assistant & so he relies on me very heavily & said I was greatly missed over the last 2 weeks. He feels that my position needs more "certainty" and the fact that I've been so sick & don't know how much longer I'll be sick for, leaves the position very uncertain & he wonders if me training someone in preparation for me going part time or finish up altogether would be best. Help? Thoughts?

i have a 27 yr old male friend who i have dated in the past. he and i are just friends now but sometimes spend time together. he has often times talked of wanting to have a baby bc he has no kids but really wants one. he is not in a relationship w/ anybody but feels that he still wants a baby. i think he would be an excellent dad bc he's good w/ all kids, including my four yr old.he was also told, when he was a teenager, that he wouldnt be able to produce children but doesnt believe the doctors. well he and i slept together last month and now i am pregnant. the problem is i dont really want another kid right now. i especially dont want one out out wedlock again. what should i do? should i tell him im pregnant and this is his kid?i cant terminate this pregnancy bc thats against my beliefs but i am so scared he wont feel the same now that having a kid is a reality for him. this is tearing me up. i dont know what to do

On wenesday September 6th I was contracting 8 mins apart and was 2 centimeters dialated (I was at my prenatal app.)and had to spend the nite in the hospitial.,was put on brethine and strict bed rest. Now this wenesday the 13 I'm going to the hospitial for a non-stress test and an LD Whats an LD? and alson 1 1/2 after that appointment I have a prenatal appointment (my next one wasn't till the 16) They moved a couple days early what are they going to do at this appointment??? and why was it moved??

Ok I had a miscarriage on Aug. 18 of this year, i was 6 weeks pregnant... after I had it about 4 days later my breasts stopped hurting, and all indications that I was ever pregnant subsided.
My fiancee and I are trying to have another baby since we lost that one... we had sex exactly 14 days after I miscarried which was the 2nd of this month. It was the only time we have had sex after the miscarriage so I know I cant be further along than that. My breasts are swollen and popping out of my bra, I can also hold a pen under them which I was never able to do before.. also very slight cramping, like twinges.
Could I be pregnant and feeling the symptoms again THIS soon?

Well not only do i get crams but when i walk i feel really bad pain going down to my vigain. Why? Even at times when i get off the chair or something. Well my tummy even gets really hard but i dont know why. I went to see the doctor last week and they told me i was 2cm already. does that mean anything? Well my baby moves alot and when he does now i even get back pains. Y? This is my 1st kid so i dont know much....

I am 39 weeks pregnant and I have this bad pain in my pelvis area. I had it a couple weeks ago and the doctor said it was nothing. Well it's constantly there and it gets worse when I cough, sneeze or just move. What could it be? Was my due date wrong? Could I be over due? I know that due dates can be off by 3 weeks!

I am staying with my daughter and she told me that this morning she had a bout of Diarrhoea that took her by surprise. (Lovely)! Anyway, she is due any day and am I right in thinking that an episode of diarrhoea can be a sign that labour is not far away or on its way? Thankyou. I'm just rather curious.

Me and my husband have been together for 6 years, 1 and 1/2 have been married. We are both in college. At first we both decided on waiting until we got out of college, but my feelings have changed. I want a child now. I want to plan the pregnancy to have it during the summer. I would be going to school, working part time with the work study program, and tending to my baby during the school year. I am 20 and he is 21. We both plan on graduating and both having jobs after college. My feeling of wanting a baby keep getting stronger. Everytime I see a baby, I want one so badly. Sometimes I just break down into tears. I don't know if I can subside these feelings for another 2 and 1/2 years. I am currently taking birth control and understand it might take some time to become pregnant. The last thing I want to do is deceive my beloved husband. I know it would only put strain on the relationship. I have talked with him numerous times, but I doesn't seem to help. He doesn't want a baby yet.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound Thursday. The 4D showed the baby's face and everything...except for the left side. She has her arm up by her face, completely covering the left side. She wiggled her fingers and moved her hand like she was waving it...but never moved her arm away. The nurse tried to get her to move it for 45 minutes. The nurse then said "I would be worried if I didn't see her fingers moving." Well, we were looking back at the pictures from a month ago, and were reminded that the same thing happened last time. They weren't able to get a full facial shot because her arm was covering her face. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Should I call the doctor and remind them that the same thing happened in the last ultrasound. I'm a little worried now that we've compared the pictures...

Hi I'm 34 1/2 weeks and lost my mucus plug friday and was in the hospitial for contracting & being 2 centimeters dialted when I was exactly 34 weeks. I'm on strict bed rest and taking a generic form of bethrine and will be taken of at my 36 week mark.
But what I want to know is everyone's been telling me since I lost the mucus ball I can go any where from a week to 2 weeks from the day I lost it! Is this neccesarly true? OR Can I hold off having the baby till I'm 40 weeks??

Okay, so I was on the nuva ring and I didn't get it in time to put it back in. I figured I'd wait until after I started again to put a new one in. I never started again. I should have started around the 24th of August. That was the same weekend that we moved, I finished classes at school, I transferred to a new school, and started classes at that new school. I haven't had any of the traditional symptoms of pregnancy either. I am going on 2 weeks late. There was a lot of stress because of all those things that I have mentioned. I took 2 tests last week and another one today, all have been negative. Am I just stressing myself out more, or could I really be pregnant and the tests are just wrong?!

Me and my husband have been together 6 years, 1 and 1/2 have been married. We are both in school, and I have about 2 and 1/2 years left of college. We both want to have kids, but he wants to wait till we both graduate. I understand, but I really want to start a family. I want to plan the pregnancy to where I would have it in the summer.
