The best maternity shirts should be ones that you will fall in love with and can convert into normal non-maternity wear.
I had a shirt that I wore during both my pregnancies and then afterwards. It tied at the bottom and gave room for the baby to grow. What I did once my children were born and I was getting my figure back, I took out the string and tucked it into my jeans. It looked liked a normal shirt. To my disappointment it wore out. I must have had it 10 yrs or so after my last child was born.
These are the kinds of shirts you need to get, not the kind you will hate after the baby is born.

I know Old Navy carries plus size maternity, but only up to size 20. So if you're like me and bigger than that, try shopping at Motherhood Maternity. I had to order all my stuff online because my local Motherhood stores don't carry plus sizes, but maybe your stores do. Their nursing bras are great, by the way. Love them.
You can also try Sears. I got a few tops from there, but their selection is severly limited. Motherhood is your best bet, but it's kind of expensive.
Good luck and congratulations!

Motherhood Maternity has some great plus sized denims. i substitute into reluctant to pass into the keep and look, as their on line determination substitute into mediocre at maximum suitable, yet i fund some extremely stunning stuff at some fairly sturdy costs. sturdy success! previous military on line to boot is noticeably sturdy, they pass to an XXL in maternity.
