I am 39 weeks pregnant and I have this bad pain in my pelvis area. I had it a couple weeks ago and the doctor said it was nothing. Well it's constantly there and it gets worse when I cough, sneeze or just move. What could it be? Was my due date wrong? Could I be over due? I know that due dates can be off by 3 weeks!

it is normal to have that when you are so close to giving birth, it is just your body getting ready. and of course you have pains when you sneeze and cough cause your muscles are contracting and it hurts more when you try not to let yourself sneeze or cough. dont worry it is normal I should know I have had 3 kids and I had the same thing and everything was fine. so good luck and congratulations!!!

The pain is most likely the baby pressing against your pelvis and the shifting of the bones in preparation for birth. I'm 32 weeks and I already have that pain. If your doctor wasn't concerned last time, it wouldn't hurt to mention it again. You may need to have a nonstress test or to be induced early.

you may be haveing that baby early congratulations by the way . Sometimes you have alot of pain down there in the close weeks leading up to delivery time it could still be a couple of weeks though I had that for my last 2 - 3 weeks . Good Luck

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I already have that... except, its not constant... its ONLY when I sneeze or move.

Welcome to pregnancy............... you don't have much ferther to go, It is normal is late pregnancy........... it is your pelvic muscles stretching, making way for new baby................ good luck
