Pregnancy - September 2006

I've been on the pill for almost 3 years now, and take it religously, at the same time everyday - I've never missed a dose. However, last month I was put on anitbotics, and since I knew that could effect it, my fiance' and I refrained from making love. I got my period as normal, and on my 6th and 8th day of my new cycle, we had intercourse - forgetting that I had had just been on antibotics a few weeks before. Will the antibotics effect the pill this month - is it possible that I might get pregnant now from those two times? Or did the new pack start working COMPETELY again after I finshed my period? I'm really worried...if you could help me out, I'd appreciate it!

so i have had my period on schedule for as long as i can remember...all of a sudden this month no period. i have been on birth control and have taken it the way its been prescribed regularly...but i took a test just to make sure and it was negative. Recently i just moved and have been under tremendous amounts of stress...im just scared that theres something wrong with me. i was diagnosed with a mild case of depression earlier this month and havent been eating correctly...i just am wondering what this could possibly be. please help

i am wondering if that is ok? im calling my doctor tomorrow...cus now my family is all freaked out that i could be going into labor soon....it was the size of a nickle, whitish to yellow color....and when i wiped it looked like a red drop of blood..nothing big just like an ink stain? what does this mean...and should i be worried???????

Ok I found out I am 7 weeks pregnant! YAY! Well has anyone actually waited to find out the sex of their baby. I kind of want to be surprised. Just wandering if anyone else wait to see also. let me know. I know its going to be hard to wait.

its weird how right when the guy busted in me, i got my period 4 days earlyer the next month because my period is stabled and always comes right on time..30-32 day cycle.

Im 15 and 37 weeks pregnant by a 22 year old I recently founf out he was cheating on me with two other girls getting 1 of them pregnant he isnt with me hes with the other pregnant girl I finally told my mom who the dad was and how old he is she said once she gets back in town shes filing statutory rape I really dont want her to I love him a lot even though he hurt me. He told me on the phone that he would be here for me and the baby but today he said we couldnt be friends that I could only call if the baby needed something and to leave him alone until the babys born. I told him about my moms plans then he decided he could still be my friend.

despite the fact that your under stress (which i am not) or any other reasons...if a guy cums in you can that be the cause of having your period 4 days early? (I AM NOT PREGNANT BECAUSE I DID IT ON THE FIRST DAY OF MY PERIOD.)

This is not a am I pregnant question. I don't need advice really, I just need to know of anyone who has had a situation similar to mine.
Ok so here we go, I found out I was pregnant in August, I was about 5 weeks when I found out. Then at 6 weeks on Aug 18th I miscarried.
My fiancee and I are trying for another baby, we had sex on all the days I was supposed to be fertile the 1st of Sept through the 3rd.
My breasts have been really sore, and I spotted some pink, and then a tiny bit of brown blood *Implantation maybe??*
Was supposed to get period back yesterday..
Has this happened to anyone? If so can you let me know! Thanks!

im 37 weeks pregnant and I went to the hospital with bad contractions I was dialated yet so they called my doctor and he said to relaease me and for me to go see him the next morning so yesterday I went to see him and I was at a 2 my contractions were strong he gave me some pills and told me they would make me stop contracting and they did my labor has just stopped why would he do this?

Hi people,

I am TTC. My periods have been pretty regular and my last period was around 25-26 July. However, last month it came about 4 days earlier on 22 Aug. It normally lasts 5 days but this one lasted for only about 3-4 days. The flow didn't seem too heavy as it normally would be. Would it be possible that it's implantation bleeding?

I have also had constant cramps, which I only get during menstruation or mid-cycle, since 22 Aug till now. I have tried a couple of HPTs but they were all negative. The last one I tried was yesterday. If what I had was implantation bleeding, then how long does it take to be tested positive?

I have no other "possible signs" except for the constant cramps, a bloated stomach which never subsided after the "so-called" period and slight sensitivity to my nipples.

What do you think? Appreciate any comments or advice.

Alright, this last Saturday, my boyfriend & I had sex. We used a SPERMICIDAL condom. He came & he stayed in me for a little while longer. As he pulled all the way out, we think that's when the condom slipped off. The condom was half in me & half out, so I could easily pull it out. That's why we think it was when he pulled out, that's when it came off. All the sperm seemed to still be in the condom. There were no rips or tears. Also, as far as we know, there was no sperm that spilled out, but we don't know. If there was, we think it would have been minimal. But, it was a spermicidal condom.. & we think it would have killed most the sperm. Should I be worried? & Is there a big chance I am pregnant? & I don't know if this helps, but I was just put on birth control, I started maybe 1 1/2 weeks ago, I know it's not supposed to kick in until a month.. but maybe it had a little effect?

I had a miscarriage 12 days ago today and i'm about to give up on everything, i'm in college, working and just got married on august 11th, my life was going so great and we really wanted this baby. now it's all i can do to get out of bed and go to work and school, i'm really depressed and no one seems to want to talk about it or even acknowledge it. except my husband. i've been doing really good except for the last coupe of days i've been so depressed that i can't stand it. i want so bad to be happy and i'm trying really hard but for the last 2 days it's been impossible. i had my blood work taken again today and i was hoping that my pregnancy horomones would be back to 0 but they are at 49 so i have to go back in 2 weeks. i was 12 weeks preggo and they said my baby was 8weeks 3 days gestation my Dr's dont seem to know anything about why this happened or when it's ok to try again, or anything. i'm trying my hardest to be strong but i think my all my strength is gone, I need some support

my cycle is usually 30-32 days long so when do i ovulate and how long does ovulation last and am i fertilized for?

last month i got my period 4 days early so therefore my cycle was only 25 days long. does that mean i'll be ovulating a bit earlyer than usual?

will my cycle go back to 30-32 days after a while?

so, i think im pregnant and i couldnt be more delighted. however, my boyfriend and i both do not have college degrees and are working in low paying jobs. we are also in a long distance relationship at the moment, which we were planning on changing when we both went back to school in january. we want to get an apartment together.

obviously now if im pregnant, this changes everything. im very excited, as i said, but also very worried about money, health insurance, all that kind of stuff.

i know you dont know my particular situation, but.. any advice? how do we juggle school, work, saving money.. just being a grown up for the first time in our lives? (we are both 23).. thanks!!

I am 20 years old, 13 weeks pregnant, and homeless. In the one time in life a girl really needs her family, I have no one to turn to. I was once a student at USF but I got screwed over by an ex-roommate and got evicted and ended up having to stay with a new boyfriend, which turned into a horrible situation, but not before getting pregnant. I have been couch surfing with various friends for a month now and I just need some stability so I can get a job, but I can't do that right now since I do not know what city I will be in from day to day. Okay, no critism, I know what I did, now a few months later I am pregnant again. I do have three children, and don't to go that route I did a few months ago. I have yet to tell my husband, I know he is going to be upset, and when he is upset, everything falls apart, including me.
Any ways to soften the blow?
I am going to carry this pregnancy, but he will not be happy. I know, he was there. what I need is advise to make things work.
