well i went to the doctors today it was my second appt..he tried to find the heartbeat and couldnt should i be worried about it????

nope...it's hard to find the heart beat early on...don't worry about it until your doctor worries about it. Good luck and congrats

Between 12 and 14 weeks you can usually get a heartbeat . it's still very early for that. Don't be worried. I couldn't hear a heartbeat until 15 weeks for my second child !

MOst of the time the heart beat cant be heard until the 12th week, and if the cant detect it by their doppler then they will send you in for an ultrasound.
My lasy baby, they picked his up at 13 weeks, talk about a scare. But he was so healthy, so I wouldnt be concerned, these visits can be pretty boring, not until your half way threw things will pick up;0)

nope sometimes heartbeat wouldn't be heard until 9 weeks - 12 weeks sometimes later the Dr would have told you to worry if there was something to worry about good luck and congrats

The baby could have been hiding so it would be hard to find a heartbeat

Was he worried about it? I remember that it was 9 weeks before they could here my daughters heartbeat.

Congratulations........at 8 weeks it is still very early in the piece.
if your doctor was not concerned then dont worry yourself about it either.....relax and enjoy

nope i didnt hear mine till 14 weeks just hold them horses he should have told u 8 weeks it to early anyways

With doppler?
If so, don't worry. 8 weeks is still very early to find it with a doppler.

No, its early yet. You need to tell all these fears to your doctor so that he can understand what you do know about and what you don't.
