my doc appointment was today..i am 25 weeks along and my blood pressure is up a little....could this be because its 90 degrees out everyday and im sooooo hot???? what can i do to make sure it doesnt go up anymore??? i am drinking lots of water and trying to stay cool..

i am scheduled for a c section in November...the baby will be 39 weeks on Nov 8th..but the doctor said he would take the baby on November 1st which would be 38 weeks....i do want the baby on the 1st but am also kind of scared that he wont be ready...has anyone had their baby at 38 weeks??? was the baby ok??? did the baby have any problems??? i am a healthy 22 year old with a healthy full term 2 year old son, i do not smoke or drink and am in good health....what would you do?? thanks for all the supportive answers

We have been trying to conceive for 2 years with no luck. This happen only once before. I was a week late but eventually started. Usually my cycles are exactly 29 days.

My husband and I plan to try for a baby next year when I am 24 and he is 26.

I have never been pregnant before and have been on birth control for 5 years since we started dating.

I plan to go off birth control 3 months before we plan to conceive.

I am in excellant shape, I eat right, I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, etc.

I am very healthy and I have never had any trouble with my cycles.

I have had regular check ups that were always normal.

Should I expect to get pregnant fairly soon after trying?

Should be easy for me since I am young, healthy and "normal"?

How long did it take you to get pregnant? If it took a long time, why do you think that is?

When girls are born, they should have a chip implanted in them that keeps them from being able to become prego. If she decided later on in life that she wants to have kids then she and the prospective father would have to go through something similiar to a court proceeding at which point a judge/jury would decide whether or not to allow the pregnancy. This would do away with teen pregnancies, trailer trash having kids, and it would save us money becasue we wouldn't be supporting Mary Joe Sue and her illegitimate 7 kids. What do you think about this??

This is my first pregnancy and I am 14 weeks pregnant. I have been going to my prenatal appointments but sometimes/NOT AT ALL feel pregnant. I wake up in the morning and my tummy is flat. In the middle of the day or after eating my stomach gets bigger and stays that way for the whole day. Is this normal?

I'm going absolutely crazy about this! I'm being induced tonight at 41 weeks. And I still don't have a baby name yet. I've looked through books and websites. I've asked for opinions. And everything I pick and really like my husband doesn't. I really want to use a traditional/old fashioned name that is still unique, in style, and cute. The names I came up with and he didn't like are Lucia, Isabelle, Sofia, and Madelyn. The only name he'll agree to is Lillian, but I just don't feel it's the right one. Please help!

I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday July 25th, period not due until July 30th it came back positive 3 times. Now I had an ultrasound today and they couldn't see anything besides a tiny sac. They said I was really early like possibly only 4 weeks...Now why would I get 3 home pregnancy tests to be positive and 1 positive at the clinic so early? Could that mean twins?

I am supposedly 7 weeks prego given that the date of my LMP was June 13th. I never got a period on July 13th. My cycle infact is more often on a 26 day schedule where my period comes about 4-5 days before the last month. So I did a test on the 12th with EPT First Response, that came positive around 12noon when i tested. Then i did another test on the 14th at night and it was positive again. Second time i tested, my positive lines showed up within 30 seconds!!!
Yesterday I had my OB Nurse visit. They took my urine and blood test to check for infections and the blood is for AIDS, anemia, diabetes, blood type and all that. None of the tests they took were for confirming pregnancy, why is that? They charge the patient to specially test for pregnancy. How can they be sure I am prego? I mean yes I have had the morning sickness last week and from last 3 weeks been having nausea, no vomiting. Now its better if I eat every 2 hours a little something, then the nausea is gone. But why

I know im going to hear that it is the womans body, and not the Mans body. I think thats total garbage. I think the baby is not the womans body becuase it was made from both male, and female. I dont feel that men have any rights on the decision. They were a big part in the making of the child, but are ignored. Im interested in what others think about the Father not having more choices on his childs life. So my question is this,,,,,,,Why is Abortion a womans choice, and not both? Didnt a couple both Male, and Female make the baby? Why do fathers have no say in the matter? I am very curious to hear what other ppl have to say. I am pro life myself, but would like to hear pro life, and pro choice opinions on this subject. Please no rude comments. Be an adult about it.

I know it makes you nauseous, but does it feel like the flu? Like indigestion? Like gas pains? And how early does it start? We've been trying for awhile and I'm a few days away from when my period is supposed to start. Is that too early to have morning sickness? Because I woke up at 5 with stomach pains and couldn't go back to sleep and haven't been able to eat anything yet.
