A positive test can be obtained 7 days after the ovulation (fertilization) as the earliest, but 10-12 days after ovulation will give a better result, later than that will give the best result. (Ovulation period usually takes on your mid-cycle.)
If you are pregnant,a positive test result is expected to show by now but some women have very low level of human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG during the early stage and remains undetected by hormonal pregnancy test,so a negative result is obtained even if there is pregnancy. You can try to do the test anytime later as the hCG level doubles in every 2-3 days. If you really want more accurate result, you can do the blood test.

It is still fairly early so it is possible that you are pregnant. When I was pregnant with my first child I had a home pregnancy test come back negative as it was too early to detect the hormones that are produced when pregnant. I waited a few days and took another one and it came back positive.Wait a week and see what happens! Good luck!

It's always possible that you could get a negative result and still be pregnant. It could just be too soon to tell. Give it a little bit more time and if you still haven't started then test again or call your doctor. Good luck.

home pregnancy test are not 100% accurate!!!!!!! when I was pregnant the first time I took 4 and they all came back negative and my son is 15 years old. the best time to get pregnant is 5 days prior to your period just in case you do not know that. good luck and do not give up until you see red honey do not trust home test god will tell you!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could be wait a few more days and take another but it is doubtful - usually those things are pretty accurate but SOMETIMES they can be wrong so after a few more days take another. And, if you are really worried about it run over and give blood at the doctors office and they can tell you for 100% sure.

I would wait at least a week before I would take a preg. test again. There are alot of factors you have to figure in with missing or being late with your period.

I wish you the best!
