Yesterday I was having a sleep, and someone knocked on the door, I got up quick & strained my stomach (like I pulled a muscle) can this have harmed the baby? Also ive got a tiny puppy she jumped on my stomach, can this harm the baby???? Im really worried.

i went to the doc yesterday and she told me that it was still too early to detect hcg in my urine for pregnancy. i got my period on 6/30 but for only one day. for july i got no period so i thought that i was pregnant but my doc said that i have to wait another month! and she said nothing about running a blood test cause its too early.
but if no period comes during the month i have to go on 9/1 and take another urine test. she said if it comes out - to start taking provera. im confused cause i have all the symptoms and no period. do u think i can still be pregnant? has this evr happenend to any of u ?

This might sound really stupid to some of you, and don't comment with your opinion.

The child was "concieved" on my birthday, so on my fiancees birthday, I would like to find out the sex of the baby, if at all possible.

Which is at 17 weeks. I have asked some people I know and they say it is possible.

What are the chances of finding out at 17 weeks?

Since I'm sure an overwhelming majority of girls will say no, I wonder why the whole hypocrisy of many females' preachy - "Oh I wouldnt abort a baby with down syndrome - They are sooo special - Lord Baby Jesus gave me this special child" statements. If a man with down syndrome is not gonna ever get laid then isn't life just a cruel joke to him? How does he develop a loving sexually romantic relationship? Personally, if I was gonna be retarded I would wish that my mom would have aborted me. I know that sex surely isnt everything - but life for retards must be a huge hurdle - Never being able to play a music instrument proficiently or do complex math or study linguistics or any of the hard sciences or arts. This must make life boring for them as well.
It's probably the cruelest thing in the world to give life to something that DOES NOT HAVE THE CHANCE to fully experience life.......I'm surprised that sooo few people have this kind of compassion for these poor souls.

My wife has delivered a baby girl recently. I'm very active in sex and don't like to use comdoms whlie having sex. It gives me a feeling as if some thing or someone is between me and my partner and dosint give me full satisfaction. At the same time iwould like to give some gap inbetween the next child. This is my first time using birth control and my doctor said to start taking my first pill on the first day of my period, there are only 21 reg. pills and 7 period pills, if i start the white pills on the first day of my period then by the time i get to the green "period" pills i wont actually be on my period... am i missing something here? I read the instruction packet but im still confused. I need some step by step instructions on how to do this... please!?
