Depends on the type of abortion you had. It sounds to me like you had an elective medical abortion. A single abortion does not significantly increase the chances of repeat ectopic pregnancies, or future spontaneous abortions. However, please consider the use of barrier contraction methods (i.e., condoms) in addition to oral contraceptives, Depo (the shot), or the patch. And get yourself checked for STDs.

If you had an infection, you'd know it by now. This doesn't preclude scarring which can have the same effect. You'll need a Dr. to determine whether this has actually happened.

its a scary thing ur best bet is to go to the doctor and take it from there. A girl i knew had 1 when she was 16 the doctor told her she couldnt concieve, until she was 32.

It's called endometriosis, and it's when menstrual tissue forms outside the uterus. It's characterized by extremely painful periods and very heavy bleeding.

didn't anyone counsil you prior to having the procedure? Of possible risks and all? HMMM.. I would go back to the doc, and ask him these concerns.
