I'm 17wks and the doc never said anything about this. Could they have done it on my first couple of visits when blood was drawn and just didn't tell me because everything was fine. Or would they have done a special test and told me what they were testing for???

Today, I had an appointment with my nurse and finally heard my baby's heartbeat. It's the most wonderful thing ever! I am 13 weeks pregnant and i'm so happy! At first, I couldn't believe it was the baby. Thought it was just my heart pounding so hard for being nervous but I guess not. Has anyone mom ever felt that way the first time? I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

-This is my FIRST PREGNANCY. =]

One week before your period. I know they say to try during ovulation time...2 weeks before and after. But is it still likely, one week before your period is due?

well me and my fiance have been trying to have a family...i mean we've been trying everything
we have intercourse everyday and yet nothing is happening. I already went to the doctor 3 times and told my doctor about it and she said just to wait....now i have leakage and has been happening for the past 4 months but i'm not pregnant...or atleast that's what the test say
i've been trying really hard i eat healthy and have been relaxing but i'm still not a mommy....what can i do?

this is a FACT. if u want your baby to be active and cheery while your pregnant get a cd player or ipod wit head phones and put it on your belly. rap music is more of a choice but u can choose w/e music u want but this fact is proven havin your baby listen to music while its still in the belly can make it a cheery and active baby when its a few months like 7 months and up. so get some head phones relax and let your baby enjoy the music =D

do not worry it cantr miscarriage my cuzin did the same thing when she was pregnant and her some is REALLY active and happy.

i am thinkin of gettin on b.c. pills soon to regulate my period. my question is that when u have sex can u still get pregnant? usually i dont let my bf go on the inside of me.... but well ive always wanted to i wanted to know if its safe for me to do that while im on birth control w/o gettin pregnant! thanks!

I am in my first pregnancy (3 months along, almost 4) and I am naturally a tiny person. For some reason I am having trouble gaining weight while pregnant. I have always had trouble putting on weight and I think it may be due to my fast metalboism. What can I do? I want to make sure my baby weighs enough and is nice and healthy.

Today I went to the doctor and she said once again my baby is still breech, or is it breach? Well either way not head down. She scheduled me for another appointment wedensday and if still breech there going to send me to the hospital for an ultrasound to find if there findings are correct and if so they are going to try to flip her around! My question is has anyone else had this done? Is it dangerous for the baby? Does it hurt? Im terrified.

I dont think there should be.. condoms are a way to prevent std's and pregnacy. Why would there be a legal age to purchase.. since people have intercourse at younger ages..

I am 31 weeks pregnant, and have been on brethine for 3 weeks, yesterday my Dr added procardia xl 3 times a day.I am STILL having pains, but now I am feeling pains inside my vagina.I don't want to call my Dr AGAIN, I keep being told this is normal, this is my 3rd pregnancy, and I NEVER had any of this happen to me...
Does any of this sound normal to you?

I'm almost 17wks now, and for the past 1-2 wks I've been noticing that my eyes are kinda blurry and burning and watering sometimes? I just had my doc appt. this last wed. and I'm totally healthy everything is fine with all my vitals. What could it be? Does that just happen to some women inpregnancy? 1st one by the way!!!!!!!!!!

You drank a little alcohol, ate sushi, drank coffee and took aspirin the first month you were pregnant? Of course I stopped doing these kind of things after I found out, but I didn't know I was pregnant until later! I'm a little worried that I may have hurt my baby. Am I being paranoid?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have had 2 appointments so far with a nurse practitioner. My question is, will she be the one I'll be seeing at ALL my visits until labor? I thought I would have a M.D.? If this is the case, I'm switching asap.
