I'm almost 17wks now, and for the past 1-2 wks I've been noticing that my eyes are kinda blurry and burning and watering sometimes? I just had my doc appt. this last wed. and I'm totally healthy everything is fine with all my vitals. What could it be? Does that just happen to some women inpregnancy? 1st one by the way!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, actually I've had the same problem...I'm not sure what the cause of it is, but I read in the book "What to expect when you're expecting" that is is perfectly normal during pregnancy, so don't worry...just one of those things us prego's gotta deal with, haha! I'm 18 weeks pregnant, by the way.

Congrats and good luck with everything!

I use to wear bifocals since i was in 6th grade. When i got pregnant with my 2third child,my vision changed but the op[tomitrist wold not change the presciption on my glasses and contacts until after the baby was born.He said some women experience vision changes during pregnancy. With the last 2 had no problems at all.

look at it this way...if you go to the eye doctor and tell him you're preggers and need a new perscription, he will tell you that you need another one 6 months after the baby.. Pregnancy changes your vision...just be careful and carry a tears like drops with you to help you out so you dont accidently hurt yourself by crashing or falling into something.

Same for me. I though it was just my vision was bad. I am 19 weeks pregnant and sometimes I can't see. I have experienced that also. I guess some women experience this. And this is my first child too............

your vision will change some while your pregnant. Mine did my dr. told me it was nothing to worry about. If you continue though I would see an eye dr. my vision was blurry after I had my baby it was back to normal. Good luck!
