Just read from the supplement watch website the following:

Choline plays a role in brain development , liver function and cardiovascular health. Choline is available in supplemental form as lecithin (or phosphatidylcholine) as well as purified choline capsules and as an ingredient in sports bars and drinks.

During pregnancy, choline intake of the mother may influence memory and brain development in the growing infant. Studies on choline and lecithin supplementation clearly show an increase in blood choline levels following supplementation with 1 – 5 grams of choline (or 5-15 grams of lecithin).

Any holy goddesses with dear little ones growing inside have tried lecithin supplement to get a genius?

I've never used it in pregnancy but I know many women use it while breastfeeding. For a breastfeeding mother, it can help to prevent plugged ducts.
