Ok the best thing to do since you have no insurance is go to your local Health Unit and apply for Medicade and WIC. Ask some family for help if not find a local Restoration House its for young woman and they help you with alost everything you need.

Apply for government assistance. ( than you can get food stamps , wic , free insurance , clothing. Also go to www.freecycle.org. sign up for the closest freecycle near you . It will take about 4-18 hours to be accepted into the group. Than you can post that you just found -out you are pregnant , single , and that you need everything for your baby . People will help you too ! Move into low income housing. As long as you do these things you will be fine ! I know someone who did this and within a year they found a wonderful boyfriend that loves her and her child. They moved into a nice cabin and are happy ! Congrats on your little cutie ! and good luck ! Ask your family for help too !

Ignore the jerk below me . You and your baby WILL NOT BE A BURDEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only people that have wellfare and are a burden are the ones that are able to work and simply choose not to because they are lazy. If you choose to put your baby up for adoption later on , thats your choice. Please do not get an abortion. There are so many people that would want your baby !

I read your other questions ..............You said in one that your found-out that you were pregnant a week ago and in this one you said that you found out today ! So.............What should we believe ? Are you pregnant at all ?

Either way , abortion is still wrong . I feel sorry for all who think that it is okay !

Best______ you and charles are the biggest jerks in the world. I would gladly pay for someones baby if they needed help. You both are just stupid kids that have no clue what your talking about ! You both need to grow up and realize that this world is not all about you ! We are here to love and help one another ! I am finding it really hard to love you two right now ! Hopefully I can overcome this . It is NEVER okay to kill one of Gods children. I will pray for all of the pro- abortionist's souls !

Well sweetie I am in the same boat except I am 18. I have a year left of high school and I finish in the next two months and I am 4 1/2 months pregnant. I don't live on my own either but one thing I do have is a wonderful boyfriend that is still there for me and he will always be there for me, no matter what. If me and him can get through it you can to. Just pray!!!!! The Lord will help you get through this situation.

Get on Medi-cal for you and the baby. Enroll in WIC they will assit you with food during the pregancy and will help you out with formula once the baby is born. It's a great program. Start saving and look for a better job in the mean time so you can get a car and get situated before the baby comes. A baby is a huge responsibility so be ready. Good Luck.

get a better job and be prepared to grow up FAST!!!!!! get insurance and remember no one is never ready for this no matter what they say. Relax and your motherly instincts will drive you in the direction you need to follow for you and the baby u have on the way

Good Luck and Congratulations it is a true blessing you will be fine or God wouldn't have chosen this time for you everything happens for a reason you just might not see the reason right away but its there

Take a breath. If you are going to have this baby and raise it, you first have to be calm. Next you need to go to your nearest Medicaid office. They can help you with insurance, and food stamps so you can be sure to eat healthy. They can also put you in contact with housing which will help you find a place if you need one, and Job services so you can try to find a better job which will be more suited to your condition and future needs. Also..I doubt very much this was a virgin birth...You need to contact the father. Take care of your health first and foremost. Good luck.

You should definitely set up an appointment with a gynecologist. You can go to the Health Department and get a pregnancy test done. Talk with them and sign up for Medicaid and Wic. Wic will provide you with food while you're pregnant, and then when your baby is born, you can sign your baby up for it too. You can still get Wic for 6 months after you give birth, and your baby will have it for 5 years. They will continually set up appointments to add to your baby's wic as he/she grows and eats more. At 4 months, they add baby cereal to it. Medicaid will backpay to any appointments you have before the coverage is filed...so if you go to the doctor now and tell them you're waiting on your Medicaid to go through, you won't have to pay it, and when it goes through it will be covered. Then your baby will be eligible for Medicaid for one year and after that you can renew it. You will be covered until 2 months after you give birth. Trust me, you have no idea how much all that helps out. Medicaid covers 100% of all your bills, as long as you meet the income standards. As long as you're not married, you can file yourself (even if you live with someone else) as separate household. Just give them your check stubs and proof of bills and address and whatever else they ask for. They only look at the income of those listed in your household, so your income will be the only one considered...and since you're a waitress, you defintely should qualify. If you are married, as long as your husband is unemployed or your combined income meets the standards of married couples, you will still qualify.
Wic also is a major help. Mine gave me 12 milks, 4 chocolate milks, liquid eggs, cheese, juice, peanut butter or beans, cereal, and other stuff. My baby gets 9 cans of formula, which are $14 each, and 3 boxes of cereal. Plus, you can register online (go to babytobee.com or americanbaby.com or parenting.com) for free baby stuff...you'll get coupons, samples, and free magazine subscriptions in the mail. You can also join ClubMom (www.clubmom.com), which will give you a lot of information and has a lot of perks too. American Baby will also send you emails each week to explain how your baby grows and develops and show a picture of what a baby typically looks like at that stage.
I hope all this helps you. Congratulations and good luck! I wish you and your baby the best!

Go to DHHR and apply for a medical card to pay for the pregnancy. While you may not qualify for it when not pregnant , they are a lot more lenient when pregnant . You first need to see an OBGYN and confirm the due date , then take your written statement confirming the pregnancy , your sscard , months worth of pay stubs and proof of residence to your local Department of Health and Human Resources to get the ball rolling. Good Luck.

First off, BREATHE! You'll be fine. Go down to see if you can get WIC, food stamps, medicaid.....
Go back to school (make an appt and they'll help you get a grant or tuition assistance.)
Go to the Dr, take your vitamins and decide if you want to raise the baby or adopt. You'll be OK
