I am 31 weeks pregnant, and have been on brethine for 3 weeks, yesterday my Dr added procardia xl 3 times a day.I am STILL having pains, but now I am feeling pains inside my vagina.I don't want to call my Dr AGAIN, I keep being told this is normal, this is my 3rd pregnancy, and I NEVER had any of this happen to me...
Does any of this sound normal to you?

As an OB nurse - I'm going to tell you what you don't want to hear and that is call your doctor. You're on 2 meds because of preterm labor and even though the baby would survive at this stage - it's TOO early to be taking chances with the baby's health.
If you're having pain - it is probable that they would want to check you to make sure you're not effacing or having other complications.
So, please, CALL your doctor. Your baby needs you to make the right decision on this.

Call your obstetrician he is used to all kind of questions.
