Ask him again in 4 1/2 months and see if his reaction is the same when the baby is real and breathing and when he realizes he is responsible for supporting the child for the next 18 years. I hope he feels the same, especially if you love him.
Good luck!!

18 is still a kid. Yeah it's so excited to know that you're becoming pretty mother at such a young age but you might suffer later on if you begin to realize you two are too young to afford a growing baby. It'll will be much better if wait 5 or 10 years when you two are mature physically and psychologically to consider having of baby of our own. Best of luck, hunie.

Will he always be in the child's life? Most likely.
Will he always be there for you? 18 & 20 is pretty young. Only time will tell...

JUST BECAUSE HE DIDN'T ASK YOU TO GET AN ABORTION DOESN'T MEAN HE'S GOING TO BE WITH YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE OR EVEN THE BABY'S LIFE.
HOPEFULLY HE'S A GOOD GUY AND WILL BE THERE FOR YOU AND YOUR BABY.HOWEVER HE CAN ALSO WALK OUT ON YOU AT ANY MOMENT AND WHY IS IT THAT WE ARE MORE HAPPY TO GIVE SOMEONE A BABY,BUT NOT MAD THAT ONCE THEY FIND OUT THAT WE'RE PREGNANT THEY ARE NOT RUNNING TO THE NEAREST JEWELER TO GET A RING FOR OUR FINGER.

He may, If he has been a reliable person so far. He really needs to do the right thing and marry you and raise the baby together. Good luck with the baby.

Only time will tell how long he will be in the child's life. He could be actively involved with it the rest of his life.
