Today, I had an appointment with my nurse and finally heard my baby's heartbeat. It's the most wonderful thing ever! I am 13 weeks pregnant and i'm so happy! At first, I couldn't believe it was the baby. Thought it was just my heart pounding so hard for being nervous but I guess not. Has anyone mom ever felt that way the first time? I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

-This is my FIRST PREGNANCY. =]

I remember when I heard my sons heartbeat for the first time...I almost started crying...it was the most beautiful sound in the whole world (until the moment they are born, then their first cry is the best sound you will ever hear!!)....I was also really excited and looked forward to every appointment so that I could hear my little babies heartbeat again...it makes the pregnancy seem so much more real!!

Now I get to look forward to hearing another heartbeat...I just found out I was pregnant again!

Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and Congratulations!!

Yes, I DEFINITELY felt the same way you do right now. I wanted to tell the whole world. This is also my 1st pregnancy (I'm 15 weeks right now) & I heard the baby's heartbeat last month for the 1st time. I wanted to cry because it sounds absolutely beautiful. It's truly a miracle. I heard the heartbeat for the 2nd time today. I actually bought a heartbeat doppler (the home-system) the other day & it got delievered today. So whenever I want I can hear the heartbeat. I think you should get one, too.
p.s. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Well Congratulation! When I went to my dr. and she tried listening to the heartbeat at 9 weeks we heard nothing. Went back at 12 weeks heard nothing! I was kinda scared but thought everything will be ok. 14 weeks, got an ultrasound the tech told me that the heart rate was 145 bpm. I am now 17 weeks and I still have'nt heard my baby's heartbeat, but it's okay cuz my baby let me now he/she is there by those movements he/she be giving me.
