I've been thinking about names I want to use when I have a family. I think the names should go well together (i.e. you wouldn't want to name your kids Lauren, Samantha, Jacob, & Bob.) Do you like it better when parents give their kids names that all start with the same letter, or when they give them names that have something in common like the endings in names like Megan, Brooklyn, Mason, etc.?

I am just starting to watch a little girl she is 3 1/2 months old and for the first 2 months she was watched by her grandfather and he spoiled her to what seems to be no return, you have to hold her until she falls asleep and then you have to carefully place her in the bed or she wakes up screaming and won't stop screaming and i cannot hold her all the time because i also have a son who is 6 1/2 months old who needs my attention too, just not as much, she will not sit in a boucy seat, carseat, swing, nothing she just wants to be held all the time what should i do to get her to learn to go to sleep on her own i do not know because i never had this problem with my son he has always slept alone with no problems he put himself on a schedale i just need some help form people who have been through this before

My baby has been having a cold for about a month! I'm having a cold which I suspect I caught from him. Could he have caught it from me again? He seemed to have recovered, but then after a few days was back to having a runny rose and a little cough. Has anyone experienced this before? What can I do about this? Should I be worried? (We've seen his doctor twice already. he is on medication for colds and allergies.)

Since a baby is in it's mother's *woom which is just a sac of water, doesn't that mean it should be able to hold it's breath under water when it's born?

I've been considering pregnancy, but I'm almost through with college. I think I want to wait, start making some money, and then have some tykes of my own. But just curious...parents...how many diapers do you change a day? At least at the 6 month age.

The pediatrican told me that my son is doing this because he might be bored, tired or overexcited. David was born at 34 weeks and he is a very happy, active child. For some reasons ( maybe teething) he stopped eating solid foods a week ago and since yestarday he started shaking his head from side to side for at least 10 times. He did it in morning, in the afternoon and in evening ...countless times. If I try to stop him, he stops, but I have no idea why is he doing thist. Please let me know if you had similar experiences, I am terrified.
Thanks everyone

My son is 6 months old. He goes to sleep just fine on his own at night time. But when it comes to naps he hits, he screams, he scratches. I or his dada have to put him down for every nap he takes. What should we do?? Oh, and b4 you say, "fuss it out" well, just don't say it cause that is inhumane!!!

I don't want him in pain anymore and all he's been doing is crying constantly. I just took him to the doctor and she gave me ibuprofen.
