I've been considering pregnancy, but I'm almost through with college. I think I want to wait, start making some money, and then have some tykes of my own. But just curious...parents...how many diapers do you change a day? At least at the 6 month age.

A normal 6 month old should use anywhere between 6-10 wet diapers a day. It is truly based on the child and the amount of liquid/food the child consumes throughout the day. It should be at least 6 wet to insure the baby is getting enough to drink.

at least 6 or 7 and that's if he or she doesn't have diarreah or isn't sick... kids are expensive i think you are very luck that you got to finish school and start a career before you had kids... i am 20 and had my son at 19 i graduated high school but am barely starting to get back to college to make something of myself... it's hard work especially when you don't have the other parent around.. i say wait... you are never ready for a baby because most do't know what to expect when it's their first... have fun with your life and then settle down... i love my son but i wish i could have waited... good luck!!!

You're smart to wait; don't have children until you're ready for them. Find out who you are first. As far as changing diapers, do you know anyone who has a child that age? Ask to babysit for a day or two, then you'll have your answer.
