Okay. My fiance and I are trying to get pregant and ofcourse I want a girl. He is Italian and has a very Italian last name. I want our girls name to be Italian also. Annabella is a beautiful name and I fell in love with it. But... He has a relative that is famous with the name Annabella...Annabella Sciorra that is. Would people (his family) think its odd that I name my girl that. If so, can you think of any other names that are as pretty as that one?
Oh the struggles.

Okay, heres another thing, My fiance and this actress don't know eachother, matter of fact I don't know if she talks to anyone out of this side of the family or not...and I'm not naming my child after her presay........ I just like her name....

i am having a baby boy and would love some suggestions on a name that is perhaps new but not ridiculous. I really cant think of any other than Jacob or Bailey. I love Bailey but feel that it isnt a very 'Man-ly" name for when he is older. What do you think are nice names?

I am debating on the following names.
Her last name will be Sills.
1. Freda Ami Sills
2. Ami Nicole Sills
3. Jacqueline Ami Sills
4. Freda Nicole Sills
5. Ami Freda Sills
Or please make your own suggestion. I will be so greatful for your time, effort and any input. Also please consider that the name Freda is very important to us and we would love to use it because we would be honoring a family member. Secondly, the name Ami (this spelling) is also very important in the same way. The other names are just names that we like and are our second choice. But the most important factor in choosing her name is actually a beautiful, well flowing name she could be proud of. Thank you.

I wouldn't ever name a kid this or even use it as a middle name, but I see it used often, so how is it being pronounced?

Nev vie uh? Nev Vay uh?

I don't like any of those sounds, or how its spelled, or how it looks. Even if it is Heaven spelled backwards!

Frankie for short, i think that is soo cute but i'm been suggesting to my family and they think i'm crazy.
I also been suggesting Harley for a girl. That's not too crazy right? at least they are not really generic names.

I adore the name Jack and it has to be my first son's name. But his middle name is also going to be short and one syllable. Is there any names(besides Jackson) that I could use as his official name?

I absolutely love the names Karina Larkyn, and Kielyn Ashlyn, but of course, HE doesn't like them. He will go with Karina, but only with a different middle name, I kind of like Karina Aubrey, but I'm not set on it. Can I please get your opinions on the above names, and any suggestions for middle names. I like somewhat unique names.

My daughter is now five years old and after having been in numerous baby classes, kids activities, preschool over the years---it always seems as if there are five Emilys, three Dylans, four Kaitlyns (or variations of that name), four Nicholas's---well, you get it: in every class there are numerous children with the same name and I've never been able to fathom why a parent would want their child to have the same name as everyone else? Just curious.

Yes, I am a fan of 24...but in a few years, no one will think of the show 24 but the name is sort of cool....what do you think? My husbands thinks it's sort of like if his parents had named him Buck Rogers!

Piers, he wants to name our son (if it is even a son) Piers Anthony..

its after a writer he likes. and it goes together well.. but i can't seem to put it into the everyday use, like "Piers go clean your room" or "Piers leave the cat alone.." just donno about the sound of it..

I want to go with Marcus Anthony (Middle name has to be anthony, family tradition) but we have our doubts about that one too, mainly because Marc Anthony is a pop singer, and we don't want to go out of our way to get our kid teased,

any thoughts out there?
