We're talking about names (in the very future tense, we're not married yet) and came up with these two. They're both unusual, and call to mind a specific individual in a specific story. We're looking for more names like this:
1.) Character from literature/mythology/history
2.) Unique, unmistakeable, unusual
3.) Positive or neutral connotation (Hannibal is cool, but Silence of the Lambs kinda shot that through)
4.) Different 'pantheons' - no theme names (Lazarus, so no Magdalene; Guinevere, so no Merlin or Galahad)

Help us brainstorm. What can you come up with?

I like the name Katelynn Elizabeth for a girl. What do you think? Any other name you would suggest that isn't unusual nor questionable when it comes to pronunciation?

we have decided to name our girl Haylee Anne Marie. we arent sure how we should do the middle name tho. we arent sure how we feel about the four name thing......so what do you think, that it looks better spelled Anne Marie, annemarie, Anne-Marie, or AnneMarie? and do you think that the one with the hyphen would be to much trouble (like always having to tell people it has a hyphen!)

My boyfriend and I just found out we are having a baby boy.

I am 18 weeks pregnant and the whole time I've been pregnant, we've been picking out girl names because for some reason, I believed I was having a girl.

Now we are having all sorts of trouble figuring out a boys name.

My name is Emily and his name is Justice? My middle name is Danielle and his is Dean. Any way in combining those names and making something for a boy?

We are expecting soon but still haven't come up with a middle name for our little girl. Her first name is Syrie (phonetically sounded out S-i-r-ee) Can you give us any suggestions. We have liked several names but they don't seem to flow real well. My great grandma's name was Adaline (who many people say I resemble most) We like Elizabeth, but our cousin is named Elizabeth and I think her twin Abigayle would be upset that we didn't include both their names. We like Elise...but when said together...Syrie Elise...it sounds like cereal. Something not so unique as Syrie just in case she doesn't like that name she can go with her middle name. Thank you :) OH, my last name is Hunt so I've got to stay away from C or K names or it makes a bad word.

ok, so my husband and i have an ongoing argument about what we want to name our son if we ever have one. We have a one year old girl and we had no problem naming her, Azalynn Elaine, we came up with it, we agreed, voila! However when we first found out we were pregnant we got into it over a boy name. He wants to name him Joshua Seaton Jr after himself. I want to name hime Seaton Jack after my hubby and my G-pa, dad and brother (all with middle name Jack). He says that is an ugly name, but i think that Joshua is to boring and WAY overused. i know this is a bit pre-emptive, we may never even have a boy, but i'd like this settled before we are in the hostpital wrestling over the birth certificate (i will be disadvantaged, yes?)
any ideas for a comprimise or a complete name overhaul?

They're all just a few months old.
I have two female twins, Hollie and Grace. They are both "family related" names. I decided to keep the spelling of "Hollie" because that's how the person who we named her after spelled it. Hollie's middle name is Bridgette and Grace's middle name is Emily. Once again, all family names.
I have one adopted son, Aiden. It's not a family name, though. His middle name is Christopher, which is a family name.
So overall, I have Hollie Bridgette, Grace Emily, and Aiden Christopher.
Please be honest, yet nice.

Rose is after my grandma and if we name her Camella or Gabriella we will call her Ella for short.
Her sisters both have unique names (Azura and Mialyn)
Please let me know what you think!
