We're talking about names (in the very future tense, we're not married yet) and came up with these two. They're both unusual, and call to mind a specific individual in a specific story. We're looking for more names like this:
1.) Character from literature/mythology/history
2.) Unique, unmistakeable, unusual
3.) Positive or neutral connotation (Hannibal is cool, but Silence of the Lambs kinda shot that through)
4.) Different 'pantheons' - no theme names (Lazarus, so no Magdalene; Guinevere, so no Merlin or Galahad)

Help us brainstorm. What can you come up with?

Here we go:

Boy: Superman or Elvis

Girl: Wonderwoman or Priscilla

They are from literature of sorts, they are unique, unmistakable, and unusual. I think that they have only the best connotations, and they are from different pantheons. (If you name the boy Superman, you can name the girl Priscilla or vice-versa.)

You realize that in the bible Mary Magdalene was a hooker right? And Guinevere made a cuckold out of Arthur? Any kid with the name Merlin deserves to have the snot beaten out of him as well. Why not just name your kids Target One and Target Two?

females: Evangeline Virginia (in basic terms think of the teasing :P) Evelina Calliope Arabella Marietta Minerva Renata Artemia Lavender My woman names fairly are not that undesirable, they are purely slightly too princess-y sounding for human beings's flavor. Boys: Fabian Ronald Sebastian Ansel Neville Roma (sounds style of female, yet too masculine for a woman) Your names are exciting. i like Pheonix, Sebastian, Rhyme, Piper and Rosalinda.

Don't care much for the name Lazarus. However, Guinevere is pretty. She could be nicknamed Guin...or Gwen.

I know of someone that named her daughter, Galadriel. I don't know if that's too strange for you or not. I love bible names I never used any. For me, Grace has a special meaning because it was the name of my sister who died. I love that name and I haven't been able to name one of my children it, but my next one is deffinatly Grace. Noah is a very cute name that I love. Adam is cute, or even Elijah.

I truly hope this helped!

GOOD LUCK!

How do you know that you will like these names when you finally decide to have a baby? Or is this just something to pass the time?

How about Romeo, Quentin, or Dorian?
