Adolescent - November 2006

I can't wait to be a mom. I'm only 15, but for some reason, the idea of being a mom someday really excites me. =]] Don't worry, I'm not gonna go off and have sex just to get pregnant, and blah blah blah blah blah....oh yea, my question. Is this normal though? Do most teens think like this or is it just me?

She came in to Child development today saying
-sorry if I dont help you with the kids because iam pissed off
-she would not tell me any thing she said it was embarassing, and did not want me to think bad of her
-she said it had to do with swimming and someone getting worse time then her and getting more praise
- she said it will change her for the next few months
-she also ran out of the room crying 1st period and spent the whole time in the bathroom
-im worried about her and want to know whats up i texted her telling her to call if she wanted to talk, and try to have a good weekend but she never called or texted back
-any ideas whats up or what you would do

ok..heres the deal..
im still not over my ex...we were together for two months..
but in those 2 monthts...they were the best..
everyday he would call me..and we would talk for hours
and on myspace and AIM
and we went to the mall and movies..
i miss that...now he has another gf..he still talks to me..

My 11 year old son has recently starting using my blue or black eyeliner to line his eyes in the evenings and he puts it on thick. He says he likes the way it looks. I want to make his adolescence as painless as possible but I have to admit, it bothers me a little to see my baby with thick eyeliner on. He's a very good kid, he does well in school, I have no other worries. Any suggestions? Should I be concerned?

What do we do as a society to help prevent all of these girls from getting pregnant? I am physically sickened by the way our world is. If you are a mom to a teenager please, please, please keep the lines of communication open for her to come to you at any time. If you are a sister or an aunt or even a neighbor to a teen that you think might be sexually active, talk to her about birth control. If you are a teen don't even have the sex but if you do please use birth control. Abortion is not hte only option there is out there, please consider your optiions. Does anybody else ahve anything to add?? Happy thanksgiving to all.

I was cleaning out my 14 yr old's dresser and found 5 thongs, I don't know how to feel about this, because I hate thoughs things. Should my opinion be her opinion too!! So far I pretty much let her do what she wants, because she's a good student and responcible too, but with an attitude now. I guess to be expected though.I may be over reacting or not. One more detail; we believe in God, but do not go to church. The reason I brought that one up is because she wants to wait until she gets married before she has sex. I'm like we shall see what your future holds.I never let my guard down, but I do trust her so far, but their is a fine line though!!She is soo petty and really doesn't know it yet, so has lost 50 lbs on her own in the last 5 months. So now try to answer my question, please.
