We would sneak and watch stuff when we were 7. Kids know what naked adults look like......sex scenes he shouldn't be watching until at least 13.

Being a nudist I probably have a different perspective. Nudity is not the problem. Being exposed to nudity at any age is not harmful and can be a healthy experience. The trouble arises from the fact that virtually all nudity you see on TV or in the movies is soft porn and as such is demeaning to women and reinforces the idea that women exist only to satisfy the needs of men. Nobody of any age should subscribe to that philosophy or be entertained by it. Your son is naturally becoming curious about the human body at age eleven. You might want to purchase videos from Enature.net You can visit them at the web or request a catalog by calling 800-499-9569. These videos portray healthy family nudity and are in no way pornographic. Watch them with your son and be prepared to answer any questions he might have. Another step might be to visit a local nudist park with him. For a directory go to www.nudistparksusa.net and type in your zip. Hope this helps. Porn shows, he's to young but if it has low nudity it's fine.My parents have let me watch shows with movies like that since I was around 4.They never really put a limit.Just make sure he's not watching porn.Titanic is OKay.My parents let us watch Brokeback Mountain so It's OKay as long as there's not to much nudity.

That's far too young.
Be the strong woman that you are and put your foot down. Does it sound fishy to you? Then it is. An 11 year old doesn't need to be watching shows with nudity--that's opening a door he doesn't need opened right now.

You're going to get a lot of immature people who are going to reply and say it's normal, to let him live his life, etc. Ignore them.
NO, he is not old enough to watch shows with nudity. To an extent, it's okay. For instance, it's pretty much inevitable that you're going to come across shows that show a bit too much cleavage, maybe a bare bottom now and then.. but shows that display women's bare breasts? Absolutely not. There's a reason why PG-13 movies are rated for OVER 13 years of age. There's absolutely no reason why an 11-year-old child should be watching any tv shows that show nudity, talk about sex or make open references to vile subjects. There's plenty of years ahead for him to fill his head with the garbage that today's society thinks is "normal." I've heard 8-year-old girls talking about how their parents let them watch DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and 9-year-old boys watching MY NAME IS EARL. If you ask me, that's absolutely poor parenting.
Good for you for thinking he's too young - you're absolutely right. He doesn't need to be watching this stuff at all at his age. Perhaps when he turns 13 there'd be more room for bargaining, but right now, he should be sticking to clean tv shows.

I would think it depends on the type of nudity and how much there is. He's at an age where he's beginning to get curious about the female body and sex. A little would be okay, but nothing pornographic. The more you try to keep him from it, the more curious he will be and will find ways around you to see it.
It's better to let him see a little on TV with your supervision than to go to a friends house and look at dirty mags or worse.

It depends.Investigate the situation abit more,he may just want the pleasure of watching naked women running around,or he is just seeking more mature, intelligent films.I would let him watch these films if the reason is that he just wants to see movies that have good plots but just happen to have nudity in them.Good luck mom!

Teach him to first respect women then think about them sexually.
Else sex will be the only thing he will end up associating women with.
Even though its not possible to stop him from watching it altogether, i think your protest in the matter will control him from getting overexposed to these things as he might have options to watch these only behind your back and i think he will have to wait atleast till his mid teens...i.e late high school period before he can go to nudity of high intensity.

he is to young. maybe around the age of 13, but right now 11 is too young. believe me, you don't want your son to watch something like that and think it's "cool" then goes out and copies what he saw, do you? take it from someone who knows, 11 is way too young for that kinda stuff.

try to wait til 12-13
if you don't let him watch it then he will sneak and get yelled at for it.
If you don't let him at 13 why don't you hand him a gun some dope and $250. You would rather him watch nudity, right? I hope so
