Put down the video games, the tv remote, that computer mouse, and do something active.

be more active. i know its cold out this time of year and many people don't want to go out for a run, but do something inside. If you have a game system get a game like DDR that has a work out mode to get ya moving, eat better, and keep hydrated. Tell your parents their making fun of you doesn't make you feel any better about yourself and that holds you back in wanting to do anything in fear of being made fun of more. Set realistic goals for yourself.. nothing like lose 20 pounds in a week. It might be genetic, or a thyroid problem. If eatting better and exercise doesn't help ask your parents to take you to the doctor. I saw on television that the childrens station nik was doing the "lets go healthy challenge" maybe check out their site to get some helpful hints from kids like you. I hope that helps out! Good luck with everything and enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Calm down. Ok you need to start eating especially breakfast. Because your not eating your metabolism thinks your starving yourself and is storing the fat instead of burning it. You need to talk to your parent and have them get you a doctors appointment and the doctor needs to get you on an exercise program. And you could also have a medical problem. There are many young people out there who do have medical problems that cause them to not loose weight and burn fat like they should. If you don't want to go to your dr then start out with crunches and jogging. You need to exercise at least 30min for 3 times a week.

Also if your friends are making fun you they are not really your friends.
Good Luck!!!!

for starters your parents should not be making fun of you!!!! if you really are worried about your weight your parents should take you to a doctor to run test in case you have a gland problem. if every thing is good then you need to start an exercise program and learn how to eat the right foods. the Internet has a lot of good sites to help with this. real friends will support you, not make fun of you.

That's not bad for a boy. Maybe your weight means you will grow up to be a strong, buff teenager. You would be good for football. Tell everyone your going to try out for football when you get into highshcool and your "training" right now in the gym and that's why your big. Good football players are big and buff. Make up a story like that. They might even become jealous of you.
Good Luck.

Well I'd talk to your doctor if you are seriously trying your hardest. I know what youre going through. I used to be overweight and didn't know why until my doctor had me get a mri and I found out I had a tumor on my adrenal gland that was messing up my hormones. Dont get me wrong though even after they removed the tumor the weight didnt slide right off, I still had to work at it.

Get over yourself.
you're not fat at all. You're skinny. There are seriously overweight and obese people in the world and people with real illnesses who need help but can't get it because all the attention is going to stupid people who think they're fat or stupid people who develop eating disorders. It's a waste of time, and you're being selfish.

You aren't overwieght. According to your BMI your normal. My friend is your height and weighes more than you do and he isn't fat. You might look chumby because of your baby fat. I'll go away and turn into muscle soon. If it makes you feel any better, exercise and eat portions. Think about it this way. What your doctor says is best. BMi says your normal. Then you are normal. I ain't lying to you. Check it on http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
