Im worried about my friend?

She came in to Child development today saying
-sorry if I dont help you with the kids because iam pissed off
-she would not tell me any thing she said it was embarassing, and did not want me to think bad of her
-she said it had to do with swimming and someone getting worse time then her and getting more praise
- she said it will change her for the next few months
-she also ran out of the room crying 1st period and spent the whole time in the bathroom
-im worried about her and want to know whats up i texted her telling her to call if she wanted to talk, and try to have a good weekend but she never called or texted back
-any ideas whats up or what you would do
-i really apericiate it thanks

i asked her if it was about sex she said no

Just try and give her some time to cope with whatever problem/situation she's going through. Try not to push her into talking about it just yet, give her some time. I'm sure she knows that you're a wonderful friend, and when she's ready to talk, I'm sure she'll come to you. Just try and be patient with her.

It sounds like she is jealous of the person that got the praise. She tried her best and someone else got the high 5. The other person probably did a great improvement on their previous time and she didn't. She probably said something mean to the other girl and now feels bad. She will get over it and be okay.
