It sounds like you took the tests too early.
Implantation bleeding is always possible, but a light period is also possible.
Take another HPT in a week. That will be your true answer.

I had implantation bleeding at 5 weeks, but I had many tests and the doctor confirm pregnancy. I doubt your pregnant if you are having a period (however light it is) and the tests say no. Also, implantation bleeding isn't anything like a period. It should only last about 24 hours at the most and is a dark red/brown blood (like old blood kind of) and it barely spotted the pad I wore, it was more when I would wipe up after using the restroom. The doctor told me it was "text book" implantation bleeding.

I had implantation bleeding at 5 weeks, but my test also said that I was pregnant. I would say if in doubt, go get a blood test - assuming the lab doesn't mess up, the test is nearly 100% accurate
